I used to think that we would, considering all the crap MSE gets, but we also have a fair few people over 3k and pretty attentive mods, so eh.

@Spevacus I don't really think so. Everyone here is already pretty quick on closing the blatantly off-topic stuff... and those posts really don't take more than a single button press for a mod to handle entirely.

And you can't just set a maximum length for the strings you want to compare (by e.g. first cutting/padding both of them to a set length) and then match?

I'm hoping to do this in the inbuilt system which allows us to set regexes directly for auto moderation

if I can't do it i'll have to add an extra check for this

@rene No, it should count the non-mention chars (so everything that isn't <@ and > with a number in between. And match the full string if there aren't at least 4 non whitespace chars

@rene Yes, if you take a scale and drop it on the photo the stuff on the left is 5&7 hundred meters apart. As far as astronomical distances go it's worth going there for some photos to check it out.
