Understood that the people on that list have their reason hidden, they are often not unanimous.

@Rob Small quibble: no rep is required to see that; even logged-out users can see the review votes (though, as you note, not the selected close reason)

It does appear to hide the review result from me in the timeline, though, which is interesting...when I'm logged into MSE (where I have 3k rep), I can see the "completed" result, with counts of the votes in the timeline itself. Logged out, I just see a close review, with no indication of the result (other than that the post was closed at the same time, but that's just an implication).

If the post is closed outside of review, the review is invalidated rather than completed, so a close review may get no votes but be invalidated when the post is closed.

It never worked before in major updates (as most users have my direct number), but somehow it did yesterday. Either he's really good, or people are too afraid of me. :P

Hey Guys, our company sends out a registration mail to people that registered with one of our sites, to send them a password. It usually ends up in spam, because well it looks spammy. Would there be any site for such a question?

I think personal finance and money takes 'is this a scam' :P

SuperUser might be a good bet for questions like this. Should be able to help craft the right meta information in the email to avoid hitting spam filters.

So, same problem is still there unfixed for .... 5 years at least.

the only thing I found is multiple SO posts referencing having to delete a corrupted file in "\AppData\Local\.IdentityService".... a folder that doesn't even EXIST on this VM.

There's a cheap PDF generator API which we're using, if it will be relevant.

But better done on your own server, of course.

You know the trope where a dystopian protagonist does something to the BBEG's servers, everyone's VR dies, they put it down and see the beauty of the world? Well, now we know it can't happen. People will be used to outages, and assume this is just another one.

Well... First, it would be nice to if one could opt out from receiving HNQ posts from specific sites.
And second, it would help if some sites (especially those with spaceships in their logo) would stop the "boy club" style private circle fun with titles.
It is really "funny" in many wrong ways to see how RPG fights everyday against that "for boys" image TRPG have and some other sites reinforce it just by reading titles... But this is only my two cents ramblings, free to ignore it.
