@Wasabi at least you got a good grade for the task of measuring the decibels of stink bug? ;)
Sad to see people can't understand that comments are not meant, were never meant, for discussions, and end up suspended over that, when comments are deleted. It's really not that hard to take discussions to chat. :/
Maybe put huge blinking banner COMMENTS ARE NOT MEANT FOR DISCUSSION when there are over 5 comments, to anyone trying to add a new comment?
@QueenieGoldstein it's when you're inside the text editor
@ShadowWizardWearingMask Bring back the Marquee: <marquee>COMMENTS ARE NOT MEANT FOR DISCUSSION</marquee>

There are sites where discussion comments are put to good use, and the Mod Notification doesn't kick in until 40 comments. People sometimes even have slightly heated and not too adversarial debates. But after sometimes a few hours of bickering, or useful discussion, everyone comes back and deletes their comments; and edits the newcomer's question or answer, and upvotes it.
@Rob there are also sites where each question gets auto upvote, and there are no downvotes. And everyone are happy, except the people who are looking for actual answers.
Letting free comment discussions in place like SE will almost always end in tears and lots of people suspended over nothing.
Depends. If you want to make logic gates out of vacuum tubes, electronics might be fine - check their rules. If you're trying to design an ISA that works well with vacuum tubes - maaybe retrocomputing??? Might be 2b/pob everywhere
It will come eventually, unless it's replaced by 6G - much like people figured PCIe 4.0 would come but it was super slow; then when it did finally arrive it was (will be) replaced by PCIe 5.0, and PCIe 6.0 is under construction.
Can I, though? It's supposed to be the same for all child-site Metas. It's not a bug, I'm just really not happy with the way I have to upload a new profile pic.
