Eg: Fat Mike, Pretty Lisa, Crazy Mary, etc. (that way people whom are in the group know which of the people to whom we refer). The name itself doesn't have a meaning or connotation - Mike isn't rich or smart because his name's Mike (nor is he expected to be).

"Bill" has a negative connotation in North America, but not as a name, many people are deeply in debt and "bills" (notices of payment owing) and often viewed as unwanted - really if one didn't want the bill they ought not to have incurred the debt.

All sites combined are a small speck. I'm very surprised SE still keeps them these days, with all the "changes" going on.

They could very well say "For the better of the 50 million Stack Overflow users, we'll be closing all other sites in the network and give our SO users our full resources, as they deserve."

ETA: 2021, IMO.

I've got a bomb answer I have not yet posted. The top question (100+ upvotes and many views) is closed and wants deleting because it says "what's the best way" instead of "how do I". There's one open version that accepts a poor answer (every answer to any version of the question is short, link-only). Do I 1) reword and reopen the top question to answer it, 2) answer the open version, or 3) write my own Q&A, which will probably be dupe-closed even though it has the best answer?

Leaning towards 3, but open to suggestions.
