Released v2 of my autoflagger web app 2 days ago. Unlike v1, anyone can use v2 (only I was able to use v1 ;p) The url is autoflagger.os.sagarvd.me/home , built with Angular and hosted on firebase
Currently I log the SO user Id of the people sign in and the date time they sign in, in firebase database
Shall I make a log or used by people page to make the data public? Is there any restriction?
Currently the instructions are in home page itself. Shall I make it to a separated page faq
Hey @Cat is there a privacy restriction prevent me from making the user id and date time of the users public?
@Catija I'm authenticating Stack Overflow users in my web application and I'm logging the user id of each users. Since I'm using the API, There must be some rules that I should follow.
Basically, SE sent him an email to the effect of, "if you say anything bad about Stack Exchange, your account will be terminated". He then tweeted a screenshot of his email from that account, with the tagline "This [expletive] company." Problem is, there were several SE employees with access to that account.
As far as his losing his employment with SE, he didn't resign or get fired for cause; he was just affected by the November 2017 mass layoff.
Given that he was previously suspended network-wide but local moderators lifted the suspensions per-site, I can also imagine SE telling moderators not to do that when this new suspension was applied.
@sonic if you follow SE folks on Twitter, could you maybe make a list of their accounts? The one I sometimes look at is twitter.com/jc4p/lists/stack but it's ancient
With the caveat that I haven't really looked at the question in, uh, question... why remigrate? if the asker doesn't want it on MSO and it doesn't fit MSE, just close/delete it on MSE and call it good?
@AdamLear It's a bug nonetheless. If a mod tries to migrate a question where it was already migrated to and rejected, they should be warned of this fact and/or it should create a new question on the destination site rather than re-associating it with the previous attempt.
@AdamLear I didn't notice it had already been migrated and rejected once when I migrated it. I saw a closed question that clearly belonged on MSO and decided to help the person out.
@MonicaCellio Eh, either's fine I guess. Dunno why the user deleted it, but I guess we can keep it for now in case they decide to repost it organically
