Basically it's two chicks at bang bang sing tail call, written by Ben Popper. Hmmmm

So SE ads are fingerprinting users now, too? :/

A: Why is Stack Overflow trying to start audio?

user11703325The ad is attempting to use the Audio API as one of literally hundreds of pieces of data it is collecting about your browser in an attempt to "fingerprint" it, to uniquely identify you across sites despite your privacy settings. This isn't general speculation; I've spent the last half hour going...

I'm impressed at how fast people caught this, though.

I'm also happy to see that staff aren't ignoring this and are actually trying to fix it.

Let @Travis know that everyone used up all their upvotes on that audio question and answers.

@SonictheAnonymousWizHog this edit is way too minor to be worth bumping 9 (!) years old fixed bug back to homepage. Why did you approve it? Did I miss anything?
Hopefully we won't start to approve backtip formatting edits.... sigh
(that's what made me quit reviewing edits on SO, realized it's pointless.)

@ShaWiz Personally I don't particularly care about bumps.

I do.
There is "edit too minor", and for a good reason.
So you never use that reason?

Also, I checked the edit review while logged out to see how others reviewed it; I noticed that someone else approved it, so I followed on.

That someone isn't so familiar with SE/MSE like you do.

@ShaWiz That no longer exists; it's now "doesn't improve the post in any way", and this edit does improve the grammar and spelling.

6:49 AM
Anyway... no matter. Too bad people bump ancient posts with pointless edits. meh

@ShaWiz I beg to differ; they're a very active user and close voter.

@SonictheAnonymousWizHog well they're almost robo reviewers based on this, approving obvious useless edit.
Last but not least, wrong edit by the same editor. Going to roll back that one.
oh, author edited already.

@ShaWiz They did reject this spam edit.
Meh. The review system is (generally, supposed to be) designed to take into account differing philosophies. (Even if I were the first reviewer of the edit I reviewed, I still would have approved that edit.)

@SonictheAnonymousWizHog not spam, just some weird troll, but yeah.... they're not totally robo reviewer.
@SonictheAnonymousWizHog well I can't and won't fight it, but filling the homepage with ancient posts just to replace "i" with "I" or similar pointless edits is bad, IMO. That's all.
(and that first edit I linked is no better than "i" --> "I")
If it's done with new-ish post than maybe it can be approved, but 9-10 years... No.
Think it's time for...

...gear problems are the most annoying part of bicycle repair. That might change if I ever get a full suspension bike and have to deal with fixing shocks, but at the moment... grrr.

@Mithrandir try this one: ceramicspeed.com/en/driven ?

I'll be switching bikes soon, so hopefully that one will be better.

@Mithrandir How about a continuously variable transmission?:

@ShaWiz problem is one moment you're happily cycling along, and the next a bemused whale drops out of the sky

@Aibobot hmm... that's just collateral damage. Don't forget, real fuel pollute the air and also kills people. ;)
So, whale can kill up to, say.... 10 people? Pollution kills thousands, if not millions, per year. :D
IID wins!

Think about the flower vases!

Yeah that's bad

The doggy got it ...

woof!

Blijf!
Niet likken!
Oh, this is fun.

Is that dutch ometapoea for dog barking?

2:37 PM
It are the catch phrases of a dutch dog trainer. The Cesar Milan from the low countries ...

ah
Not a fan of Caesar Milan
I consider good dog training, especially with more intelligent breeds of working with your dog, not ordering them around

No, if you're a dog you rather see him go ...

Ce... Cesar M.?

Different Caesar

The only thing you have to get from him is: It is not your dogs fault.

2:41 PM
Nope
There's very rarely bad dogs
there's bad owners
and rarely good owners trying their best to help some tramatised, poorly socialised pooch
