@ShadowtheWelcomingWizard It's about the same here. You can go to most supermarkets and they'll have one of those machines, where you can fill a bottle of juice for €2,99 or something ;)
@Somewhat there's no "should".... each and his/her own way of drinking. Sometimes I finish cup of coffee in less than a minute, sometimes in half an hour. ;)
Well, usually the pattern would be: I bought flavored coffee in the afternoon -> taking a sip slowly -> feel so sleepy at around 3-4pm -> finish the coffee at 6pm -> can't sleep at night...
The only exception I make for traditional caffeinated beverage, if I'm feeling too tired near the end of a first leg of a connection to and back from India, so that I'm not wearily walking through the transit airport and risking missing my connection
@ShadowtheWelcomingWizard In a way. On the other hand people keep pushing me to start driving again... even if that means driving automatic transmission :/
@ShadowtheWelcomingWizard automatic is generally for disabled people here. I know I can drive manual, it's how I got my license. Also, stepping back from manual to automatic feels like I didn't fix anything, just put a band-aid onto it and now we can wait for that to fall off too
@rene A little bit. They're mostly nice, but it would be easier for them to sell an employee that drives than one that has to go by public transport everywhere because she's too much of a chicken to drive.
@Magisch Nope, it's panic attacks and me chickening out ... I'd love to be able to go back to driving normally again. I did it for a short while, until I had an accident. I loved the freedom it gave me.
public transport is okayish here. But it took me 3,5 hours of train/bus and then another hour walking from/to transport last weekend to get to that party where I could just have had a 1,5 -2 hour drive and been there too
@ShadowtheWelcomingWizard So, basically, most of the background can be read here. We had an alliance meetup last Friday evening where mister problem would be too.
@rene Why? Those doors have sensors, which is (IMO) really annoying: Door almost closed, some businessman in a suit (and a backpack) triggers the sensor and we have to start waiting all over again!
@Mithrandir buh... so we don't need God. Let's just find a way to remove whatever DNA is responsible for the little toe, so that new babies will be born without it. :P
@Magisch by animals who know how to use them....
We have little toe, but no idea what to do with it, or how. :)
@Magisch hehe yeah, I saw couple of days ago a baby cat climbing high tree (2 meters high) on a very thin branch. Was sure he's going to fall but waving his small tail, he did it. Then his mother came to take him down. :D
@ShadowtheWelcomingWizard It does have one. My annoyance is that not many people use it. And etiquette says that if you have to go the top floor, you hang around in the back of the elevator, not near the button ;)
@ShadowtheWelcomingWizard If you had one capable of assisting with balance you'd know how to use it eventually. But for upright walking humans it's probably not much use in balancing, hence why it atrophied eventually for us.
@Somewhat not sure, usually it says it's blocked in my country when it's the case. On this one it just says "Video unavailable", kind of like SE generic 500 error.
