@JasonC You're at least a decade late.
There was a lot of interesting stuff on the internet in the 80s. More than now, proportionately.

user202362
internet back in the 80s/90s are what I call as the 'free net', nowadays, it's herding net controlled by cooperations

A malapropism (also called a malaprop or Dogberryism) is the use of an incorrect word in place of a word with a similar sound, resulting in a nonsensical, often humorous utterance. An example is the statement by baseball player Yogi Berra, "Texas has a lot of electrical votes", rather than "electoral votes". Malapropisms also occur as errors in natural speech and are often the subject of media attention, especially when made by politicians or other prominent individuals. Philosopher Donald Davidson has noted that malapropisms show the complex process through which the brain translates thoughts...

The Ugly Duckling.
@bjb568 There a lot more where that ^^^^^ came from.
I love the graphics on the PacMan voice.

@tchrist To be fair, "post 1990" is roughly equivalent to "after the 80s".
But actually I'm talking more about internet technology development than content.
The concepts got all muddled because I suck at the whole idea → language thing.
OMG I DON'T NEED TO TYPE -> I WROTE A USERSCRIPT FOR THIS

@tchrist Ooh, that one's pretty good.

@bjb568 It's the only triple-fugue in either book. The animator uses a distinct shape for each of the three themes.
@JasonC It certainly helped get things going when we invented DNS in 83.

@JasonC lel, I just use keyboard replacements, I'd need to use like a hundred different buttons.

Lozenge = theme#1, teardrop = theme#2, arrowhead = theme#3
Five voices but three totally different themes.
He's got the six-voice fugue from the Musical Offering there, too. Kinda scary.
Only one theme, though.

Q: Bezier masks for use with groups of shapes?

ArchagonI'm using Blender to do some 2D, shape-based animation. Everything you see here is a Bézier shape. To animate the mouth and eyes independently, I add holes to the head shape and then stack the eye and mouth parts below it with an orthogonal camera. This works OK, but it's not perfect. For o...

tuna is awesome, you can use it as a weapon, then eat it

user202362
by the time police reaches you, you would have eaten most the tuna, and your cats would have eaten the rest

@Gerry you doesn't sound too excited about it

3:04 PM
@Bart I was about to edit out dumb ass here but I see both you and ChrisF already did some salvaging there. So I assume that word was left in as compromise?

shame that he has 10k on somewhere else..

I think we're getting to the bottom of this.
On a different note: Dammit. Markdown does not work in gmail.

@πάνταῥεῖ heh, and OP name is Goodman. Funny. :D
But your comment wasn't offensive even a tiny bit in SO standards. lol
On SO standards, your comment was sweet and lovely.

@rene ...I have no idea what that means. Have I ever said that I'm not a programmer?

No, you did not.

@DavidPostill Nah, I honestly have no idea how to do that stuff :P. I did a task for the Google Code-In (I did absolutely no programming, with a slight exception) that involved Haiku, so that was something I encountered.

I don't code, so it's not like I can do anything else.

I don't code either, I'm a trained monkey that insert random numbers and text in files on GitHub. Sometimes my changes don't break existing stuff which I call a lucky day.

@rene Actually, that sounds like what I did:
