Hard to check on mobile ... but has anyone ever asked on meta 'can I delete my account over the phone?'

user202362
Not that I am going to ...

.... I'm sorry for throwing this in here, but can we pile on some closevotes here ? meta.stackexchange.com/q/292179/135565

Equality is possible.

(Wrote it on a student's paper just now, to point out that < should have been ≤. But it somehow sounded deeper than intended.)

51% of Americans tried marijuana today...

Guess I'm in the other 49%.
huh, I wonder how that accounts for children unlikely to have tried it, i.e. those under, say, 12. Which begs the question how much of the population is represented by children in that age range.

@NormalHuman That's early in the running for worst pie chart of the year.

Maybe we should blame their source, which is MOE +- 4%

Lol
Why 1997?
No 1998?
@JonEricson The CBS analysts are clearly in the "today" slice.

@JonEricson meh. pot is not high on my list of bad things that have happened/will happen this year.
I live in a legalized state too, and so far everything is still here.

@ɥʇǝS Not the subject of the chart. The chart itself. It somehow gives pie charts a worst name.

@JonEricson Oh. Haha. I didn't even realize the numbers didn't line up xD
now I feel silly.

If you are hiking the wildness trail in a 11 ppl group, is it still a wildness walk?

Colorado apparently sticks to executing Little Orphan Annie characters

If you post an answer to a question, and that question gets deleted, and you don't have view privileges for deleted questions on the site, should you still be able to see that question?

@JasonC I seem to think so.

@SmokeDetector "bad keyword"? What, the "vagina"? It's on Health.se ...

The letters "MS" link to a report. The keyword was "dietary supplement".

user315433
Interestingly, the initial revision of that post was not spam at the time of posting. It was more of a suspicious non-question, a spam seed. But the OP quickly edited in a link to a site that they already promoted in three earlier posts

user315433
Why their account still exists is a mystery, possibly explained by the state of moderatorship of Health

As per my comment regarding continuous bad attention from meta, not necessary to let it continue. stackoverflow.com/questions/42672054
There's a couple other things I did/flagged in that question and the associated meta post to help stop that whole thing, too.
Another step in removing unneeded singling-out in this situation meta.stackoverflow.com/a/345246

@ypercubeᵀᴹ Yeah it can be hard to find a bad keyword list that's an appropriate fit for every site. Another one is english.se, where certain words are perfectly acceptable in context. You just kinda have to roll with it. If you see a false positive like that reply to the smokedetector message with "fp-", or "fpu-" to whitelist the user. You can also click the "MS" link in smokey's message to see what other users said about it.

@JasonC magic ...

@Undo Do you guys track tp/fp rates of individual bad keyword patterns?
Just out of curiosity.
@rene Thanks. I think that was the right thing to do here. Poor guy. Asked a crappy question but got brutally meta'd.

@JasonC meaning, more specifically?
oh I know what you mean.

@ɥʇǝS What I mean is true/false positive rates per keyword pattern in github.com/Charcoal-SE/SmokeDetector/blob/master/…. So e.g. "Bowtrol" is x% tp. Per site would be even more interesting.

10:07 PM
yeah it would.

@ypercubeᵀᴹ Oh also fwiw (I didn't check before I typed my last message to you) the keyword there wasn't "vagina" (that's not on the keyword list), it was "dietary supplement". Check out metasmoke.erwaysoftware.com/post/60429.

@JasonC Thnx. I didn't notice the spam link, that's why I asked.

[ SmokeDetector | MS ] Manually reported answer: HdTune has found bad sectors, what now? by sarvesh on superuser.com

@JasonC I can kinda fake it, but ultimately I can only tell you what part of a post was caught - often down to the word, but I can't trace that back to a specific pattern

11:29 PM
@SmokeDetector fp-

manually reported false positive...

@ɥʇǝS I can see that particular post being debatable. I'm on the fp side of the fence. I dunno.
I ended up cancelling my fp feedback and just flagging naa anyways. Probably also not appropriate. Then it exceeded my attention span. Meh.
