@balpha because everytime a new bit of code is written in COBOL, a shitty question or answer gets posted on SO. Do you really want to see what would happen to SO if they rewrote parts of Gnome in COBOL?
@balpha - well, it doesn't matter to me ... a language is a language, I just don't see why they didn't stick with Python as the plugin language. My dig was at certain cultural differences between languages and their users
Mutter is supposed to do window compositing even without 3D acceleration (how novel, somebody tell the Metacity team.) Still, without 3D acceleration I get this...
(Yes, turning 3D acceleration on fixes this for me.)

@balpha - fair enough ;) I just think they are trying to attract web devs and their fancy ideas to the desktop which is reasonable ... but I would have rather Python be the extension language of choice ;D
@badp - Personally, what kernel they use is up to them ... but if Ubuntu is going to deviate from the norms, then I think they should do the honorable thing and go the OSX route

MonoTouch does not ship with a DataContractJSonSerializer as simple as this serializer looks, it brings in a large set of libraries.
You can use either the System.Json API or you can try NewtonSoft's JSon library.
See here and here for more info about that. There is no explanation about those two, but my guess is that reached is only from upvotes which reached 200, and exceeded is any day it reached 200+ including accepted answers (but not including bounties).
And I think exceeded is old or current calcul...

According to Jeff's statements under this question, the definitions of "reaching the rep cap" and "exceeding the rep cap" are as follows:
reached: earned 200 or more rep purely from upvotes in one day
exceeded: earned 20...
By the way, @TimStone, thanks again for recommending MigLayout. I think I thanked you before, but now I've gotten a chance to actually try it out. Very nice, once I got over the initial "how the icosahedrons does this syntax work" confusion.
@Nyuszika7H I'm pretty sure we don't allow this for a few reasons - the vast majority of users are never flagged, they're good citizens
....and just because you are flagged for something (by you, I mean your posts*/*comments, not account) were correctly flagged, we get a lot of nonsense flags as well
Can I get a repro? Goto a question, open the flag dialog, choose "it doesn't belong here", click the X at the top left, then goto close instead, then goto choose exact duplicate (I don't get the URL field) then toggle to another option then back again, and do you get an error?

I know the rules have changed, but I got it on Cooking SE, and I'm pretty certain that I've never flagged anything there.

Vote to delete answers. There is a constant stream of 'thank you notes,' snarky remarks, and other stuff which isn't formally spam but is clutter.

Remove the 2 day limit on voting to delete closed questions.
20K users should have enough about them to know when a question should be deleted rather than leaving it closed.

There's another just implemented feature too. See waffles' post up a bit. It looks like several ideas are being implemented. It wouldn't be fair to just accept one answer.
So we have 10/15k users, who are like power users, we have 20k users, who have access to some of the most basic mod tools, we have diamond mods (all blue or blue and black?) and we have SOIS employees. What else?

I've accidently flagged an answer in Review, because there's no confirmation dialog. That should be fixed to prevent accident flagging.
