Ok, the programmers chat room has failed me. Anybody have a gift suggestion for my team of coworkers? Trying to think of a fun holiday gift. They're moving into new office space and the pool table request got denied. So thought maybe I could get something that would be a fun break.
@drachenstern Yeah, thought I'd do something a bit more than just a regular holiday gift (which last year was just gift cards to a restaurant for each person)
BOOO. The local news just covered the virtual sex game for Xbox Kinect. They talked a lot but all they showed while talking were replays from Black Ops.

There's a bug in Stack Flair where if you aren't doing a combined flair, and you don't select another theme, the default theme isn't specified and there's an issue. It's on @RebeccaChernoff's to-fix list already, I think. :P
You would use small packet size to tune for many short small transactions, and large packet size to tune for fewer large transfers.
Reason: Too large of a packet size on small transfers, and you waste resources transferring padded data.

Assuming those are hexadecimal numbers you should be able to convert them to a long (they're too big for a 32 bit int at 48 bits).
long.Parse("0x" + serialnumber);
Alternately, if you do know what the valid numbers are, and they aren't in a natural order, you can make a custom class, override ...
Change the action attribute of the form to submit to itself, not form #2. Only if your validation code passes do you redirect to form #2 with a location header().

Can't the tools be available sooner, if they can be useful? For example:

Jeff, It would be so easy to build from the 'outside' if you guys made the RSS feeds pubsubhubbub! This way, people could build app that would act on callbacks (like, new answer for a questions's feed, new question in the feed for a special tag... etc). Much much more efficient.
I only use technologies whose names I can easily pronounce.
@TimStone The + in front of the two variables and the inner bracket is for type coercion, the inner middle + is for addition, and the other ones are for concatenation
@yoda What about something like "show raw" or something which gives you just a plain text page of the code?
I always do my best to break long code into something readable. Fortunately, I spend fair chunk of time with tags like MySQL where it's relatively easy to do.
@Jesse Hartwick, would help yes, but the main point regards the great amount of code that sometimes people chunk in the middle of a question making it harder to read.
my english isn't the best .. what I ment was having a fairly long question with large block of code as "examples", wich makes it harder to follow the point of the user
Nope . the question is in SO. Sorry for the confusion. But in SO is very difficult to find someone in chat. And I don't want to post this in Meta .. it's noise
I left a tab open for my 'today recent' page when I went to bed last night. When I refreshed a minute ago, my rep changed (lowered, I think) and I don't know why.
@yoda No idea. Not a big problem. Just slightly puzzling.
I've got an extra 10 rep I can gain back just by running a recalc (that was there yesterday, btw, and I know exactly what caused it), so it'll all balance out.
Could be someone unaccepted an answer or something. No big deal, especially if it was one of my upvoted accepts.
I hate those now. They get in my way of getting Tenacious and Unsung, which are my new goals.
No worries. I'm actually quite proud of my answers. There have been a couple times I've seen a straightforward question with a bunch of short-but-accurate answers, decided to answer anyway, and got the accept.
Now, this also puts me in the position where I then spend two days answering "but that didn't work" comments and troubleshooting the hell out of it to find out what the OP really wanted to know, but thems the breaks.

I wish I could use all of those, but a lot of those probably look different etc.
For example, on Ubuntu & Tahoma, the half-block and the full block drop down and rise up more than the 1/8 2/8 3/8 5/8 6/8 7/8 ones do, both horizontal and vertical variants.
