@α”•α–Ία˜Žα•Š Hm, do you think this is really true? It seems more applicable for script than app, but maybe you have a counterexample?
(script of course already makes this note, but)
user259867
Okay... looks like I at least partly succeeded at merging branches and making pull request.
@1999 well almost
oh nevermind, I was misreading it. You did it right

there. @1999 ^ :)

Cool. I was surprised Manish merged it; he was mostly elsewhere recently.

I expected this question to generate more votes: How can I quit drinking coffee? by Gunn on coffee.stackexchange.com
Don't worry. You'll stop drinking naturally as the mug gets emptied out over time.
21:31
I didn't know there was a site for coffee, but I can't imagine it will last much longer.
Are you going to drink it dry?
user259867
Speaking of sites, elementary OS started today.
What kind of topic is that?
user259867
*nix kind of topic
building your own?
user259867
21:41
> elementary OS Stack Exchange is a question and answer site for developers and users of elementary OS and applications.
user259867
The lowercase letter at the beginning is annoying.
@1999 Next step on the git-fold-path: learn about the difference between rebasing & merging.
I do miss the Cupcake...

Crypto election ended two hours ago, still no announcement of winners. I suppose @Shog9 trusts that cryptographers will decipher the results themselves.
we already know the winners

Yes, my point exactly.
It's just a matter of getting a CM to make it official

And... it looks like CR will be the first beta site ever to have a primary round of election. (11 nominations)
Wowee!

Yeah exactly...
Anything else borked?
@Shog what's up with MSE?
CloudFlare.
Oh
It is working
Wait
Not really

Works partly.

Where to bring up (seemingly unintentional) misuse of the stackoverflow logo?
user259867
@1999 Running a script or something?
user259867
@Undo No, just looked at those tags
oh
user259867
22:49
We are aware of the issues with some people having issues access our site and are working on it.
user259867
I don't know how to report them. Spam seeds, but spam flags would likely be declined.
user259867
If it seems likely to be a spam seed, you might custom flag with a link to Brad's message here
user259867
But there are so many...
@Undo don't mods have a dashboard, or similar, to coordinate stuff?
user259867
22:51
Is it reasonable to have a bunch of custom flags like that?
Use 'em wisely, but if it seems probable then do it
user259867
Many of them get closed "organically"
@Braiam if you really want to know you could ask on meta, don't know if I can say either way.
No one knows where a good place to bring up misuse of the stackoverflow logo would be?
user259867
22:57
@BradLarson Are other mods aware of this pattern? (Meaning: if I flag as spam, will they recognize it as such?)
user259867
I see Bill the Lizard is aware; many of these are closed with him being the first voter.
We're sending out a workaround for the routing issue now - access to sites should be normal within about 5 minutes.
Tried Atom for a bit -- it's okay, but not as fully featured as I'd like so far... and the built in git integration is fairly horrid.

Finished reading Catcher in the Rye. I still think it's awful.
Even for fiction.

Good, Catcher in the Rye thinks you're awful, even for fiction

@DadNeedsDecaf don’t be silly. Already called Yahoo! answers, & already hear back that someone’s cat had the same problem and is still sad.
Who's in charge of the twitter feed?

user259867
@hichris123 Jaydles
23:32
Really, Jay is?
These tweets don't seem Jay-like. Color me surprised.

@TinyGiant Now I found official guidance here:
You'd be surprised how some folks will behave when they get to write behind a pseudonym

@Shog9 So... like your message, hmm?
user259867
Is there any difference between "contact us" form with "Other" reason and emailing team@ ?
@hichris123 exactly
@1999 At least it's less click-bait-y.
23:35
The contact form might have a better chance of getting past the spam filter if they have one
Well... I used the contact form...
@1999 The former also tracks some information about you and your account.
O.o does @Shog write for @Jaydles?
perhaps we're both just pseudonyms for @Pops, thus explaining why he's been so quiet here lately...

I feel bad for Rachel: github.com/StackExchange/blog/commits/master?author=rmaleady... she (or a dev) could've just used a script or a find & replace.
23:46
Yeah, and why can't I dv without a login?
Aaa how to exit mobile version in this dev blog?
user259867
@hichris123 Looks like she's editing from the web interface, every file change is a separate commit.
I click full version in chrome and it doesn't work.
@nicael Clear cache?
23:49
Wtf? How is clearing cache related?
I should have asked first, are you on a mobile device? If so idfk
Yes on galaxy s5
