Does anyone know if the association bonus counts towards posting on protected questions? I'm trying to answer a protected question on a site where I haven't earned any of my own rep yet (101 still)

It kinda makes sense, but at the same time, no. Protected is more used for spam/me too answers on sites, not cultural things.

I guess 10 rep isn't that hard to get, so it doesn't really matter.
