I was writing a pretty long title and nobody told me that I reached 196 chars already... everything seemed to be ok.
But then I removed focus from the title box and... suddenly saw that apparently I have already written more than 150 chars!
Could it tell me before I remove the focus...
Vacuum the vents
The fans are designed to keep the components of your laptop cool. When the inside gets inevitably dusty, the fans have to work harder to be less effective. In the worst of cases, it'll look like this:
In most laptops, using a vacuum from the outside will be strong enough to g...
@nicael OK, I wanted to consult you about my competing answer on that isolated site question before I posted. Instead I asked ShadowWizard for a second opinion. I'll handle the comments on my answer tonight.
Knight eats it good. It stops caring about the rest of the game, because the prawns were the most delicious piece it has ever eaten. It was sensational.
@Mooseman true/tp cannot be used for answers because their job is to add the title of the question to the Bayesian doctype 'bad'. If you want to blacklist the poster of the answer, use trueu or tpu.
Hello Server Fault community,
I want to give you a heads up that I'll be making some minor design updates to SF site design to reflect recent changes on Stack Overflow and Super User. Visually it should "feel" the same as the old site with slight layout adjustments.
We are moving the site's CSS...
I realized it when tested my answer to be sure it really works (you know, just in case) using the profile editor on MSE and then I had an edit suggested showing the confirmation dialog... and then I remembered that the profile editor on MSE used to ask for confirmation to save the changes I made ...
@Undo @Frank @Mooseman @Unihedro I made a Github repo with all the games we've played with each other so far (not counting live games, only turn-based). It doesn't do anything yet, but, you know, it's data, and we all like data. Maybe fancy graphs could be made, I don't know. :P
Stack Overflow is far too pretentious.
Everyone is so concerned with following, reinforcing and creating rules about every possible aspect of every possible aspect of forum interaction, that no one gets any help anymore.

I'm just getting over a cold, but my nose remains very stuffy / blocked. This makes sleeping difficult: I toss and turn or simply can't fall asleep at all. I've tried blowing my nose and using various decongestants, but nothing seems to do the trick.
What can I do to help clear my nose/sinuses s...
Phenylephrine is excellent decongestant when applied directly, in form of a nasal spray (just like oxymetazoline). It's destroyed in digestive tract, that's why phenylephrine pills are placebo (but easily backed up by direct application studies for advertisement purposes). — Agent_L26 mins ago
@Mooseman Be wary of nasal decongestant sprays like Afrin or Sinex (oxymetazoline or phenylephrine, respectively). They work really well but heed the warnings on the box, they are very physically addictive and the withdrawal is not pleasant.
@Braiam Suggested an edit. The second sentence was not a separate question, it was actually a statement of intent behind the broken command in the first question.
"You can google this lol check out this link" doesn't answer the question, "You can use [in-answer solution], [link to sample]" is an answer, "You can use (inline link to cite answer)" is an answer.
The last is LQ, but not VLQ, and it should be allowed to live because it is useful.
