Does anybody know the gmail support phone number? Thanks!
And keep in mind that Tom Cruise said so as well. So it's reliable
@Bart Most of these are spam. He probably means the real one.
@JanDvorak We all know the real one is 1 866 978 6819
@JanDvorak all those different people spamming the same exact phone number? Sounds like too much of a coincidence to me.

@Mooseman: you about?
@MartijnPieters I'm here
I was wondering why you approved the suggested edits on Meta.
Someone is polishing up off-topic old posts.
That's not really useful in in some cases actively harmful.
BADGES!
And the edit to the non-english wiki was really not helpful.
(which is very close to badgers. better watch out)
14:02
It was a misspelled essay on non-english speakers, nothing about what the tag is for, I reverted that change.
I was just wondering why you felt those edits where helpful?
@MartijnPieters The title edits looked fine to me, but you make a good point that they're on old, off-topic posts. My mistake.
For a dupe, editing the post can actually remove a way point; users searching for the alternative spelling finding the canonical through that post, for example.
Mostly, that user is editing everything under the sun without actively contributing to quality here, so I am now being harsher in my rejections, especially when it is old content.
@MartijnPieters Got it.
As for the I am not a robot title; there is a history of humour in bug report titles on Meta that has value too.
I won't revert the suggestion now that @Flyk also approved, but I do feel value was lost there.
Is it Pierre.Vriens again?
14:06
@J.Steen yup.
@MartijnPieters He's been... very active lately.
@J.Steen exactly, and only proper rejections are going to stop that nonsense.
but that doesn't work if all his suggestions are being rubberstamped without looking at the context.
@MartijnPieters Nope.
People who don't bother to comment the pitfalls of their answers annoy me a little bit.
I can appreciate that SO is a Q&A site, wanting only answers for the questions, but remarking that this or that code will generate this or that many unknown statements to database servers, for instance, is sometimes vital. Because people sure as hell don't do research on their own.
...
My case in point, about research.
The answer I am speaking of is this one. I'd appreciate if someone would correct me if I'm wrong in my comment. stackoverflow.com/a/29124099/64976
