Tim PostIf the user is known to frequent chat, you can politely show them a link to your question and ask if they've got any insights - just take care to not be a pest about it. @Ahmad, I was just looking at some of your questions and many in their current form are fairly reasonable. @Ahmad so you're generally asking if I have an answer to my question now? If so, to some extent, sure. I'm debating whether or not I'm entirely satisfied and what I want to do next, if anything.
user259867
I think it makes sense from SE team viewpoint. Getting loads of emails appealing q-bans must be tiresome. So they offer a (mostly) self-service option: delete account, get 1 q/week.
Something like this is done in some online homework software: a student can click a button and get automatic (short) extension on homework due date. As a result, professors don't get as many desperate pleas by email.
@Fundamental should I delete my account myself? all the question, all answers, votes everything should be erased?

I get a feeling we're talking on different wavelengths @Ahmad. I'm out. I may revisit that question, I may accept an answer, I may wait a little longer, we'll see.
I myself didn't intend to answer your question, in the way you was worried, but it was a chance to say the concerns of a banned user too
@Ahmad So we should tell every criminal it's possible to 3d-print handguns?
08:36
@Jan we probably should, most 3d printed materials I've seen would probably end up doing more damage to the shooter :)
@JanDvorak I just said it was unfair to good users, for example check me, what I earned by waiting 3 months to leave the ban
@Ahmad We never said you were a good user ;-)
@Ahmad By definition, if you can even run into a ban, you're not really a 'good user'.
Single quotes, not double.
@JanDvorak most users are good, we just don't take them to the point they pick the 3d-print handguns. the way you go, even if they don't realize that in the fist, they soon will realise it
@JanDvorak most users are good, we just shouldn't take them to the point they pick the 3d-print handguns. the way you go, even if they don't realize that in the fist, they soon will realise it
Now you're just repeating yourself, literally.

Perhaps you should have stayed there
Thanks that 'Good user' here is just related to the context, I am just maybe a different user, smarter one, but not a bad one ;)
lol, even the system is bad with me
@Ahmad Practically, the post ban exists to catch bad users, so the context has no relationship with the definition whatsoever.
@Unihedro beside kidding, honestly the ban mechanism need some reconsideration, it seems they have done some changes since I was banned, but I can't benfit from them
Sure you can. It should by now be very clear to you how you can proceed. What disconcerting however is to see how much your focus is on "how can I continue?" rather than "how can I improve?".
08:49
if you have checked this unanswered question meta.stackoverflow.com/questions/284017/…, yes my concern was "how can I continue", you think waiting for three months isn't sufficient for me to know "how can I improve", I am just afraid even if I found it, no one opens door again
unfortunately my English is not good to compile a huge texts, I didn't yet found should I delete my account by myself? should I send a request? can't it be done without deletion, do I loose all my questions and reputations and answers....
@Ahmad "do I loose all my questions and reputations and answers...." -> Yes.
And no, you can't delete your own account. You're going to have to put in a request.
@Bart Or rather, you can only delete an account by submitting an account deletion request.
@Unihedro that. I'm down a mineshaft being attached by various creatures.
if that is the only way thats ok, however the other user @PeterJ told me that my questions are not that bad to be deleted, but why my answers?!!!
08:54
... and deleting and reinstating an account will gain you attention from the moderators
@Bart I hope you have a lava bucket. You can effectively clear a whole village of cave spiders with them.
@Ahmad account deletion doesn't discriminate
... and burn any wooden structures that may have been there
@Ahmad I don't know what feedback to give here, so - Why not?

@PeterJ yes, that why I'm searching them combined with terms like looking for tool e.g. and bring them to zero

@bummi, not sure I follow but wouldn't most of those get deleted with a single downvote?
if you search score zero they all seem recent and I think every site has the roomba
@PeterJ ok, I'll dig in my older voted to verify
@bummi, a few seem to either be new or recently closed, although not sure why this one would still be there: superuser.com/questions/262295/…
although maybe a recent downvote and user deleted so hard to know if it was a recent downvote
mhmm ... Looks as if I can not see them if they are gone :/ low rep :) this one could be used to give it a try , I'll keep the link superuser.com/q/495150/172747

09:53
@bummi, bookmark it and check after 3:00 UTC tomorrow - I think that's when it'll disappear.
@PeterJ that's what I did, thx :)
10:09
That sort of question make me wonder if there should be a new auto-delete rule. If closed that long without a single answer it's not like any useful content has been removed, and especially after say a year sometimes the scope of the site has changed a bit so not likely it'd get re-opened for anyone to answer.
I've seen a lot of questions like that get an upvote or two and they just sit around forever.
@PeterJ I think there was a discussion about on one of the meta's ... the better way might be a manual review and voting on those you are sure about?
10:25
@bummi, didn't see that discussion but not sure. I've seen the odd good late answers to old questions that are open but with closed ones seems like it'd be a battle to get them re-opened (even more so for a new user) and then answer. It can be a bit of a broken window for search users to find a question somewhat similar to what they want to ask a year or two later without any answers if they don't know why it was closed.
10:40
@PeterJ While I agree it would be nice to have a good automatic way, there always could be the chance for a user to improve and reopen a (not to bad) question in case he gets on a ban border, but that's another topic ...
@bummi, guess that's a good point. Anyway was about to head off soon catch you later.

@bluet I think it's NAA, but for a different reason; While it does say "this code sets a color filter on a drawable", it doesn't say that it's any use towards solving the problem, so it may well be immaterial. "Check out my code (external link) here, it draws red circles" aren't answers.
