Sometimes I worry that I keep reading on xkcd after someone referenced it

@rene This is normal behavior

Oh, thanks ;)
So, I'm normal then?

@rene Yes?

Cool!
Balpha doesn't blur
You can blame it on IE11

@rene Also on Firefox, but refreshing made him blurred.

@rene Balpha and Jon
and Anna and Zephyr

Hmmm, a bug in the blurring script?

I'm on Chrome's dev channel so I can't really complain

They're all blurred for me.

it is a bug the last-activity-time should be a number...<span class="data"><span class="last-activity-time">b13dce689732844e6590da37048f0eaf</span></span>

Q: Opacity of gravatars of users not updated

reneIn the Tavern I noticed the gravatars not becoming opaque after a while: Inspection of the html dom revealed this inside the <li> of balpha: <span class="data"> <span class="last-activity-time">b13dce689732844e6590da37048f0eaf</span> </span> while for others that same html fragment shows: <

@SmokeDetector You might want to double check your regex for phone numbers. In fact, I'm not sure that's a good idea to detect at all.

@JonEricson Many of the black magic stuff is catched by the phone number regex.

@ProgramFOX Sure. But wouldn't it be easier to look for /black magic/i?

@JonEricson That's certainly a nice addition, but I don't think it will catch everything. On the other hand, you're right that the phone number regex gives many false alerts‌.
@Undo @hichris123 @Manishearth What's your opinion on the above?
@JonEricson Andy has a pull request that has better phone number detection, we could use that instead. @Andy Your pull request cannot be merged now. Could you please rebase it?

7:32 PM
@ProgramFOX Whew, that's an old pull request. I'll take a look at it later, sure.

@Unihedron How does one make their stack exchange so dark and firey?
@SmokeDetector SPAMMMMMMM

7:47 PM
@JonEricson IIRC not all of them have that stuff.
Indeed:

Indeed, it has a few false positives... but so do all of them.

@hichris123 Hm, that pull request I have doesn't detect that first one as a valid phone number
@ProgramFOX Done. Turns out the problem was the changed RegExs since February. I'm not sure how to trigger GitHub to say if it's ready to merge or not though. It still says it's not

Q: Stack Exchange Editor Toolkit

AstroCBThis userscript is a revival of sorts for the old SE Editor Toolkit, which was abandoned some time ago. It only really provides the autocorrect aspect for the foreseeable future, which I find to be quite useful. It works by injecting a button in the edit window (it works inline for users with f...
