@Jamal What are you crapping about?
That's a long list of crap.
@Jamal Didn't I say it was good?
Not all of it is actual flag-worthy crap. Many just need an edit.
And I've just crapped myself... with joy.
Yeah, I'm not blindingly flagging them.
Moderator advisory: read before you flag.
20:01
@AnnaLear Yup.
@AnnaLear There might be a few that could be fixed with an edit.
Hmmmmm...
> "SESSIOON"? Spell check please!
A decent answer?
@AnnaLear read stuff? Man, this whole thing starts to sound like work ...
4
It looks like a lot can be fixed, but they're too minor for a suggested edit.
@Jamal Hmmm thats what I thought. Some can be flagged VLQ and then count on them to be edited or deleted there...
@AnnaLear busy?
stackoverflow.com/users/3911855/zigi is also chat.stackoverflow.com/users/965090/zigi who is making new accounts (daily it seems) to spam users in the chat then troll them on main
it is a daily annoyance
(and when I say multiple accounts - I mean more than I care to count anymore)
20:06
At least 2 then @rlemon?
:D
if I need to do anything past 1+1 I open the console.

Q: On which network I can share stories

tangobeeFew days ago I was stuck with one Spring integration issue for days, there was no one I could ask ('am living in Sub-Saharan Africa region) so I joined SO and posted the question, within few minutes someone answered it. I just couldn't believe it, it took us days, I was very happy and wanted to...

@rlemon thanks for already posting those links. I just wasted so much time between flagging crap on my answers and telling the OG zigi I believe it's not him
@ShadowWizard are you sure? There are other answers involving tools
@SantaClaus $10 says it's the answer.
@AnnaLear Your $10 is speaking loud and clear.
Gah, baba spam again.
20:11
@SterlingArcher how does he even expect us to humor that - "I've created other accounts using Tor just to mess with people on SO .... BUT I SWEAR I'M NOT DOING IT NOW! THAT IS NOT ME!"
@hichris123 That was my last flag.
@JanDvorak yes I'm sure. scamaudit.com/domain/sitecomber.com
> This website seems suspicious.
@rlemon I only believe him because I'm usually pretty nice to the guy. He likes my music and I'm not one of the guys who gets into it with him
@hichris123 gone
20:12
But if it's him, whatever, no skin off my ass. I just want the spam over.. JS room is too off topic lately and I'm not learning like I used to d:
@SterlingArcher in either case - I'm kinda bothered the second account isn't removed yet
desc is "fuck off" and it is trying to mimic another user
The one that has "fuck off" as the profile description? Yeah, me too.
@AnnaLear I guess the question was really the thing that should have been closed (as you did). My only reason for flagging that answer was it could easily have been better fit for a comment. I'll watch out for similar occurrences in the future.

rui7905i thank the Proxy-Authorization is encrypted.

Haha. A typo got him into the query.
so @mods - really? stackoverflow.com/users/3911855/zigi this is allowed?
(see deleted post(s))

@rlemon yup
account created today - just to insult another user in a answer?
and mimics another user
doesn't sound right to me
Meta post it?
Gets more hype

user3911913i am trying to find percell scott in pulaski va. but have no number, please help

@hichris123 oh god.. I dated a girl from Pulaski VA
It's 15 minutes from where I went to college
@rlemon if you see such answer, flag it as abusive. We don't care what users write in their own profile, there are thousands of spam accounts sitting there anyway.
20:22
@SterlingArcher I'll let them know we found you
@rlemon Click the link. :)
LOL Thankfully he's not looking for me. I live 200 miles north of Pulaski now
nice. done and done
@ShadowWizard what about impersonation accounts?
That seems like it could very easily tarnish the reputation (not # rep) of a good SO account
I had someone impersonate me not too long ago - came in here and pinged a mod . dealt with.
20:26
@SterlingArcher same thing, as long as they're sitting silently it's fine, but once they do any action (post or comment) they should be dealt with.
Mmkay, thank you much!

So much weirdness today. Is Shog sharing his acid with others or something?
@hichris123 he'll be back. Historically speaking those who have a grudge against the JS room are... very incredibly persistent
I'm not 100% convinced they are not all one and the same
@SterlingArcher Just post it in here and we'll deal with things/poke people to deal with things. :P
myself (as well as a few other JS room regulars) have had cyber stalkers over the past little bit
i've never been stalked. it is interesting experience
@hichris123 thanks :) I'm just flagging and posting here
damn, clicked the wrong reason
ohh yay I can undo it now
Can someone make a chat room for

how useful is that?>
There's a nice plugin for cv-pls
It's worse for flagging. It cannot be taken back at all.

if you devs have the opportunity to try a standing desk for a week. I suggest it - I'm almost a year in and loving it
I don't think I could do it
I have a bad knee from a very nasty break so standing for long long durations really bothers it
Yet I can still grind a 20ft box and hit a 10ft kicker on my snowboard... weird, eh?
standing is better for you than sitting
just don't lock your knees and shift your weight
(I listen to music, get a nice little natural sway going)
But I do both D:
user163250
@hichris123 I'm a little afraid of what will happen with continued usage of the site, however :/ For every success story, I'm sure there are plenty of traumatized users from non-Western countries who can't even comprehend what happened to them here.

ah
I use it on chat.stackoverflow that's why

That's unfortunate :(
Very much so -- it's incredibly handy in the JS chat
I think I'll be in the JS chat...
We should just spam the JS chatroom now.

@AnnaLear I was wrong. I originally thought it didn't directly answer the question. I read it as "Hey, you better check your spelling". I should be more careful.

This is the correct answer - a particular user was just upvoting, then undoing the vote, over and over. While this doesn't occur often, it's annoying to see in the logs. Look for some vote throttling in the future. — Jarrod Dixon ♦ 54 mins ago
