"main chat room" is the most active room of a site, as far as I can tell.

@AnnZen I pretty much always have a tab open with a chat tab open, even if I'm not at my computer, so I'll show as online even if I'm asleep or whatever.

(This has gotten less reliable as my computer dies a slow agonizing death, but the point stays.)
