Later on, but as soon as Chuck Jones's Tom and Jerry, sometimes it's just slapstick comedy, with no 'moral' recompense. You're rooting for the mouse, and the cat wins, and vice versa.

My response is the most natural one. I don't pick sides beforehand.

@Rubiksmoose never seen the new She-ra - not my thing. I kinda remember the '80 original series (never been a fan of that either) and the fact that it didn't seem so great. Every time there was a "crossover" episode between She-Ra and He-Man one of the two character just HAD to be painted as utterly incompetent, depending on which show you where watching.

If you watched He-Man, then every time She-Ra made an appearance she had to be inferior to He-Man.

If you were watching the She-Ra show... then He-Man had to become the useless one.

Fighting evil while competing to show who's best.

So nice.

Hi, could someone help me clarify the validity of recent questions of mine on SO, as they keep getting flagged for closing, with the reason that Super User would be more suitable, although they are clearly coding & API questions. Despite this, I had my previous Q closed and needed to get help on Twitter to get it re-opened. Now it seems to be happening again. I suspect a troll but naturally can't verify this myself.

Or is this the wrong place to ask?

@ThomasTempelmann You should probably flag your posts for a moderator on SO.

@ThomasTempelmann The best place to talk about specific questions on SO would be Meta SO. So if one of your questions was incorrectly closed, then it might be best to raise that question on Meta and ask for the reopen votes required (or discuss it in chat in the SO Close Vote Reviewers chat room). If you feel like there's a troll closing your questions (plural), then that'd be where you flag for mod attention. Your most recent questions on SO are still open and have upvotes, though.

Though closing/reopening is something the community can do, so make clear you're not just seeking help with reopening your questions but with finding out if someone is targetting yours.

Hi all, thanks for your comments. I don't see how I could find out of a specific user is targeting me because I cannot see who downvotes or closes my q's. Also, I had not realized that I can flag my own q's for getting positive attention. I had assumed so far it's always for negative reasons. I've been here for nearly 10 years and never had such issues until a few months ago.

@ThomasTempelmann Well, you can see who votes to close. Navigate to the timeline on the questions that were closed you'll see a "closed" event along with the users who voted for closure. But also, yeah, moderator intervention flags are flexible: Just make sure you be as descriptive as possible in your explanation. Mods have zero idea what they're walking into when they open up your flag, so try and tell them exactly what's going on!

@Spevacus Okay, I believe I can see who voted on a closing once the close is done. But not before, it seems. At least I cannot see who voted to close my two most recent Qs just this past hour. How do I achtually see the timeline of a Q? See this one, where someone just voted to close it again, apparently: stackoverflow.com/questions/62596067/…

@ThomasTempelmann If it's just one rogue close vote, I wouldn't worry about it too much. But yeah, you can only see who voted for closure once the question is actually closed.

But you can access the timeline of a question by clicking the little clock icon right below the voting buttons.

Same goes for any post.

Anyway, I'm only getting a bit frantic about this vote-to-close because when that happened to the linked one 4 weeks ago, it cascaded and soon everyone voted it down, apparently because none of the voters actually identified the question as a coding question, even though I clearly asked for the API call I couldn't find. Looked like a deja vu today, especailly since it showed the exact same pattern.

SO is SO weird SOmetimes.

@ThomasTempelmann checked your last two questions on SO, the single close vote doesn't mean a lot, both are with positive score and appear to be totally fine. Good chance you're being targeted personally, not based on content. Over time users who are active on SO tend to also attract "enemies", it's quite common, but not much we can do about it.

If it becomes a problem and cause actual closure of a question, involve a moderator as others here suggested. But until then, no need to panic. :)

@ThomasTempelmann when in doubt, hover.... the icon has the hand cursor and useful tooltip explaining what will happen when you click it. ;)

@Rubik worth to mention, one of the two friends with whom I played D&D as kid/teenager died when he was 18, so 1) Without him it won't be the same, 2) The other friend is not into D&D at all anymore and 3) it will reminds me of him. All of those won't stop me from giving it a chance if and when I can, but just things I keep in mind.
