I think moisture and smells are the biggest danger. Snor's tank is a second hand tank that I bought of someone that kept bearded dragons in them. The smell of piss was firmly stuck into it. I completely remade the interior to get rid of it
you do need to keep a specific temperature / moisture / substrate and all that in the enclosure though. And keep track of shedding and feeding cycles
a well behaved housecat needs emptying of the litter box and some food every day, and will not care about what temperature your house is as long as it's livable, and will sleep and stay wherever you let it
I mean most (all?) snakes are opportunistic predators. And they eat meals very large in relation to their body size and weight. If you tried to feed a snake an appropriate meal every day they surely wouldn't eat it. They need a while to digest. They're adapted to the "slither around and wait for something that you can eat to pass by" lifestyle
@JAD I lived near Coffs Harbour, in northern NSW, Australia for several years (I'm back in Sydney now). Here's a lovely coastal carpet python who decide to estivate in our north-facing rock wall one winter:
@JAD yeah but even something like a green tree python will at most bite you and try to constrict your hand. Not pleasant, but nowhere near deadly or even seriously injuring. The "event horizon of hurt" is a lot smaller when near a nonvenomous snake
seeing a snake here is a rare and cool find, and they are mostly very scared of you and leg it instantly, like a small lizard. There isn't really anything agressive here
In Australia, a lot of people in the big cities are overly paranoid about snakes, and they're very unlikely to encounter a snake in the city. :) Kids in the rural districts learn about them in primary school, so they know which ones are venomous. Still, if you're walking through the bush, you don't want to startle any snake, even a constrictor. But generally, they'll feel your vibrations long before you see them.
@terdon I would call France, Germany, Netherlands and Belgium (and Luxembourg) Western Europe. Austria probably belongs with Germany culturally, but both west and north is a bit of a stretch geographically. North Europe in my (dutch) mind is more like Scandinavia. — JAD27 mins ago
@JAD (thought I'd move it here instead of cluttering the comments) Fair enough, I just think of these divisions as being more socioeconomical than geographic. But there's nothing surprising in this division, it's certainly common at least in the, ehm, south ;)

All depends on the context. If I feel there's a reason to share something deleted, then I will; otherwise, if you can't see it... tough luck; stuff gets deleted for a reason.

If you wander past on the way to somewhere else from time to time you can guage the line shrinkage and estimate when to go before it rotates out to the secondary theatres (that don't get first showings).

Besides the fact that it would also still be unrelated to the post you were both commenting on: If it's anonymous I don't really like people coming back and flagging stuff as 'it's about me, can you please delete it? I don't like seeing this'. It means someone was reminded of stuff they didn't want to be reminded of. You might want to think about if your conscience can live with that.

Correct me if I m wrong, but a user asked "this is the screenshot of the post that got someone banned, what was offensive about this?" and then got a ban. How is that unrelated to a question titled "Is posting a screenshot of a deleted post against the rules?"?

Honestly? AND THIS IS JUST OPINION NOT WORD OF LAW OR FACT OR TRUTH: one demand I've seen is for something of a public apology. The language this is written in (it seems carefully drafted) make me think the post is just as much *part* of the agreement as it is announcing there is some form of agreement reached.
I think more people might pick up on that, find the agreement 'unsatisfactory' and downvote it again.
If you want to do something right for Monica though: Consider heavily upvoting it. That way it'll appear highly ranked in Google results, and might be seen by future people searching for her name as the antithesis to the registry post.
@Mithical Sounds like their lawyers realized a lawsuit is costly and lengthy and has large PR implications. In that vein maybe also that she has the funds to actually sue.
but at the start she seemed very much happy to get an apology and retraction. I realize this sounds vindictive but I really hope this hit SE in the wallet hard enough that they'll think twice before even considering anything resembling a repeat
