@KevinB it's called the repairs strategy 001

@Braiam I can ask Shog to... how long has it been?
And which post is it?
It can take 6-8 hours. Usually I've only seen them get stuck when the post is deleted before it drops off.

@Catija Has Travel's new theme rolled out fully yet? I see the new theme despite having disabled the beta test option in my settings, and I don't see a meta post there notifying of the new theme or an update to your tracking post on MSE.
Or is it a bug (the new theme is showing despite it not having rolled out yet)?

@SonictheInclusiveWerehog I just haven't updated yet. It just went live to everyone about 15 minutes ago.

@Catija Why not compose the per-site meta post before it rolls out, then submit the post immediately after it rolls out, to avoid confusion?

Because most people aren't following that closely and I have to update all of the per-site meta posts, too... which are more important than the MSE post.
I'm also not the one pushing the changes.

@Catija Sorry, my above message wasn't clearly referring to per-site meta post; I edited it.

We could coordinate the theme releases a little more carefully, but tbh... once the initial "this is coming" post is made, I don't think it's an unreasonable leap from there to "I see the new theme, therefore it's out now"

:sigh: If I say "because I'm completely uncoordinated and a stupid idiot" will that help?

As I had searched for the rollout announcement and didn't find it, I was about to submit a bug report saying that I'm seeing the new theme despite there being no evidence it's officially rolled out; I thought I'd ask you instead to see if it's just rolled out but you just haven't posted it yet. If people do this, it creates messes to clean up.
(As an aside, I did this once before, with my old account: asking about the new black top bar rollout in 2013 before the official employee post on it.)

@Braiam I kicked the CB cache on SO, but it looks like that post is still considered featured by the API, so that did precisely nothing :shrug:

@Catija Also, out of curiosity, are you planning to remove the tag on your MSE post on the new design rollout for beta and non-designed sites, or will you just let the Community user auto-remove it after 30 days?

...

@AdamLear Shenanigans! Shenanigans everywhere!

@SonictheInclusiveWerehog There's one way to find out

"Wait and see" :P

@Braiam known bug, it's like this for years, and sometimes it sticks there for weeks after being un-featured.

Q: Post remains featured even if [featured] tag is removed

TuringTuxThis question about nominations for Pro Tempore Moderators on Computer Science Educators Meta was a featured question, but was unfeatured on June 23. However, it sometimes still appears as featured on the main page of Computer Science Educators SE: This might have something to do with the fact...
