Also agent sent thru a contract because neighbours want to group selling the land to real estate developers. The chance of that successfully happening in the next 5 years is about 50% IMHO. But if it does go through, the price of the land will double and my lot would not be less than 3 million (or I wouldn't sell and my neighbours would not accept any amount less than that for their lots either).

@Magisch Isn’t SO by far the easiest just from sheer volume? When I wanted to get serious about getting to 10k on SO, I just watched a few popular tags like javascript and lowered my standards.
Since then, I’ve almost completely retreated into tags nobody cares about, and I still managed to hit 20k just from grabbing the questions I actually care enough to answer.

@rene Yeah, I think it’s easier in some ways and harder in others. Getting upvotes isn’t necessarily easier on niche tags, either, since there are fewer eyeballs overall.
It is more likely that you’ll get those upvotes spread out over time, though, whereas the upvotes you get in the first 5 minutes of answering a question in a popular tag are likely to be all the upvotes you’ll ever get.

@Derpy In the distant past, this very chat caused my Chrome browser to crash. Always. It worked on IE, but being IE, it wasn't useable, just didn't crash the browser. It caused me to not join chat for long time, and when I checked again one day... all was good. I did not install or remove anything special. Browsers have their weird sides, guess nobody can know.

I was never summoned to testify anywhere, although LE asked me per email once to make a statement (also via email) regarding one case
It happened ... more often then you would think, which is especially sick considering that this was a site frequented mostly by children

Protocol for moderators in these cases was immediately suspend the account, delete the post, validate the report, and pass everything off to the site owner so he could report it to law enforcement
Somehow one instance of that didn't result in account termination though. They'd be suspended, for like 6 months or so for it

@Stijn There was a significant amount of edgelords who thought it was cool to hide links to disturbing stuff like gore, snuff, cp etc in innocous places to traumatize children.
I always took solace in the fact that they'll be debating whether or not it was worth it from the inside of a prison for at least a couple years
