@Sam Oh, perhaps that's not too bad. But it would break terribly of the HTML design changes.

Sam
@ProgramFOX Yeah ik, but nothing's changed from when I first wrote the code (Jan 2015), so...

Hmm... @Undo Thoughts^? Especially considering the network traffic.

Sam
I'm also fetching each author's network ID.

@Ϻ.Λ.Ʀ. OK, I guess what I'm saying is I don't feel strongly about it. As an answerer in it for the rep, I want people to use the code associated with my answers. And I think they do, and I think this probably won't change anything. Tempest in a teapot. I don't know what SO should do, though. Maybe you should spin off a new MIT site?

@bjb568 ...well that helps -.-

it is always nice to come back to this one when the weekend draws near...

Maybe we should start a dedicated site proposal?
WorkStability.StackExchange.com?

@Derpy You mean Code Golf?

! wait.

user307833
@Derpy Well there was that (thankfully brief) period where we had code trolling challenges

@turbo_MaCk Are you logged in when seeing this? We don't serve leaderboards to users such as yourself with >= 200 reputation.
@turbo_MaCk That's also not an ad we would approve - it's very tasteless, so we want to find out the source (i.e. injected on your end?)

Q: Should I edit an [on-hold] question, and my edit can't get it reopened?

Kevin GuanCan I still edit an [on-hold] question, despite my edit can't get it reopened? For example here's a post which is already closed (and I can't find a real example), the code format is wrong. Should I edit it and correct the code format? I know that my edit will let it enter the Reopen Votes Queu...

(asked a mod to remove the link I posted above - seem Google Safe Browsing thinks it is insecure - Virus Total doesn't report anything else but better be safe.)

@Ϻ.Λ.Ʀ. no please don't.
Deleting the user does have some effect, but I believe getting a post nuked as spam far surpasses that penalty.

There's some guys in my back yard trimming one of the trees there
Their level of expertise makes it seem like the amount of planning they did was "Gee, we need more money, what can we do?" "Hey how about we go chop down trees!" "Okay, I'll go get a chainsaw and a ladder"
They just dropped a branch into my neighbor's yard
They also have no saftey equipment whatsoever

But they are cheap, right?

Oh, probably.
Though cheap isn't really good when working around power lines.

Well, we deal with the power-outage la

Okaaaayyyy, I just watched a large branch fall on the phone line.
My mom said they offered to take down the entire tree. I wouldn't mind the tree being gone, but I don't I'd want them to do it. :P
