Or, of course, you'd just stupid and thought the pond was a good place to store your phone for two days
Can someone explain what is meant by "Only clicks from outside the Stack Exchange network count towards the badge" as part of the "additional requirements" associated with the Announcer/Booster/Publicist family.

Not weird. SE wants to drive/increase the traffic of fresh blood from outside the SE 'verse. Oddly enough, they don't return the favor for useful links in the other direction, from SE outwards.
