Q: How to Access Appliance Website In Vhosts

i_am_davidIf you are past pset7, or at least have set up PHPMyadmin, you can access your PHPmyadmin databases outside of the appliance by going to ip.ad.dr.ess/phpmyadmin. How do I access my websites in vhosts from outside the appliance ? Thanks, David

what's the, umm..., normal method of dealing with a situation where a user cross posted their question on two sites, got an answer on one site and copied to the other site as a self answer?

@austinian Normally, that would be plagiarism, but because the most of that answer is a quote from a real source... I don't know :/ It's not really plagiarism..

It's some kinda plagiarism. @Aus I'd flag for mod attention and explain in detail if I were you.

6:17 PM
@bob obviously you'd need a link to your own account…

@austinian I agree with @Ϻ.Λ.Ʀ. What's missing in the self-answer is attribution. You could leave a comment, asking the self-answerer to edit in attribution to the original answerer.

@ᔕᖺᘎᕊ, since when is quoting from an RFC that says at the beginning "Distribution of this memo is unlimited." plagiarism, especially when the source is included for attribution? Do I need to include the "Copyright (C) The Internet Society (1998)" for the attribution to be complete?

@austinian He meant not you, but the other OP has plagiarized content.

@Ϻ.Λ.Ʀ. ah, k

8:50 PM
@austinian i said it's not plagiarized.

@austinian but yeah, I guess it, as @Ϻ.Λ.Ʀ. said, is some form of plagiarism
^^that is, again, talking about the self-answer!

[ SmokeDetector ] Few unique characters in body: How do you add elements from one ArrayList to another? by a deleted user on stackoverflow.com

Wow, I cut down my api module from 874 lines to 643 by using a simple optimization. I also caught a few bugs while find-replacing thru it.
I can get it even smaller with yield.

@Undo @hichris123 what is that by a deleted user report? What do we need to do?

@rene Just that the user who posted the answer no longer exists. Reports with a deleted user are rarely valid, but occasionally they are.

9:18 PM
That seems a valid report?
That user has been posting until 20mins ago.
Or is that a ghost user in the spirit of Halloween?

Can't users with only one question request deletion or something like that?
Yeah.
> If your account has never voted and has posted at most once, you should see a self-delete option on your user page under "Edit Profile & Settings":

Strange that the user comments on the answers and then deletes the account
But it is a valid option, as it turns out
