@animuson I don't tend to bother with ones which would be covered by meta.stackoverflow.com/a/92006/153020 (not sure if that includes deleted answers/comments or not though)

Yes, you have to nab them within a month now. The express clean-up system.

Area 51 just emailed me announcing Chem.SE's public beta....

Anonymous
There seems to be no greater source of bugs than those announcement emails.

Heh, usually they come before the public beta begins
Wooo, both my answers on Workplace are at +10 ^_^

6:22 PM
I have 158 there
@timsite yeah, some guys got the private beta email halfway into the private beta

@TimManishEarth orly

@timsi Please ask tons of questions on chem.SE! We need 'em!
@anna CodeAdmiral got it late.
And someone else complained about it here

@TimManishEarth I think we send two emails. One to announce and one to remind people who haven't signed up yet that hey, this thing's happening.

Whoa, I didn't know Workplace made it into beta. I'm still stunned that it wasn't shut down in proposal... it's so subjective.

@TimManishEarth What does Uuu stand for?
Lol ^

6:29 PM
@PopularDemand Subjectivity isn't necessarily a problem. :)

So I've been told.

@anim one sec , saw something related in chem chat
Unununununununium!

Banananananananana

@anna maybe the firstwent to,spam? Unlikely though, we both use gmail and I got mine on time

@TimManishEarth If you're going to list provisional names of molecules that we have no hope of seeing in our lifetimes, why stop at seven levels of "un"?

6:35 PM
@moot you missed a 'na'

Drat!

@pop my fingers cant type that much on a phone
;-)

I rarely remember that you're in here on a phone. That's madness.

`document.write('Un')"for(i=0;i<getPopularNumber();i++){document.write("un"); }
document.write('ium');`
Not always on a phone
I tend to switch to a desktop/tablet for post,writing
Yes, it is madness when you want to type a line of math. :p

stabs Java in the face.

6:44 PM
@mootinator Unfortunately, that won't kill it.
You have to tear it apart and burn the pieces.

Et tu, moot?

Well, at least it isn't trying to run with a different jdk than it compiled with now.
I told it.

Try JQuery (CAPITAL J)

Ugh, I have to install Firefox.

@moot but why do you have 2 jdk
S installed?

6:53 PM
@TimManishEarth I think grails uses some 1.6 stuff or something, and I was compiling using 1.7
Or something to that effect.
I don't really care, TBH as long as it works :P

Aah, firefox. had to do that recently to fix a script.. Stupid location.origin doesn't exist :p
Makes sense

Who knew functional tests would fail if the browser they want to use isn't installed.

@mootinator Mind boggling =D

@mootinator I'd expect it to throw a WellIfItWorksOnYourMachine exception, personally.

7:12 PM
My first YouTube video upload officially has tens of views now. Pretty sure that means I'm famous.

I'm fairly sure everyone that views my youtube videos views them accidentally when looking for porn judging from the "related videos" on them

Haha, nice. That's classy right there.

7:28 PM
@awoodland I've been looking at Maven stuff for so long I thought you said "pom." Nice change of pace after having the opposite issue all day.

Could I get some duplicate close votes here? This dude posted a question, then posted the same thing ~45 minutes later when he hadn't gotten an answer =)
N00bs.

Hmm...I wonder what the best way to fix this is...

One does not simply walk into finals.

Meddle with all the things!

7:59 PM
I don't understand why people upvote silly questions like this -.-
You could even close it as a duplicate of the millions of other questions that have been asked about variable variables on objects...

8:12 PM
@animuson If it's a duplicate of millions of questions, it's hardly too localized, is it?

It's too localized in that context because it's just a syntax error there.

Okay. Still, if it's a common syntax error, close as dup, if not, too localized. These two close reasons are very rarely applicable to the same question, I think.

8:45 PM
Ello.
Math class. Ugh.

@animuson I'd be inclined to favour exact duplicate over too localised always

Šö ßøręd.

9:41 PM

@mootinator Yes I do! You just can't see them!

10:32 PM
"Diablo III is so fun it stopped me from Facebooking about how fun it was." - Bahahaha. That has nothing to do with the game, just the fact that you have something to do for a change... O.O

"Verbing weirds language" - indeed, facebooking???

11:16 PM
So, if I said I was mootinatoring right now, would that be reverbifying?

Reminds me of "burglarizing" :)

Mootinatoring is a bad example, of course. If you were avenging your family, wanted to be concise, and wanted a good chance nobody would understand what you were talking about, you would say you're "punishering" though.
