Q: Does voting to close as duplicate erase earlier comments?

Mark RansomThe first comment on the following question pointed out a previous question and declared that is was similar but not a duplicate. Are there any implementations of C++ that don't use vtables and vptrs? I responded to the comment, and shortly thereafter the question was closed with a complete...

@TimStone my observation is that it looks like it's deleting anything with the word "duplicate" in it
@animuson damn I nearly asked that
was just about to hit ask

Let's test it. We'll need 5 users, some gerbils, a unicorn, and Rebecca's pointy stick.

A: Autocomment when voting to close as duplicate

Jeff AtwoodImplemented, but in a very naive way. I forsee code cleanup in my future tomorrow.. once closed, the question should auto-remove any comments of the type "possible duplicate of.." when multiple people vote for the same dupe, should not insert duplicate comments (oh, the irony) I did not consid...

@TimStone I was frankly dead impressed you let any untrusted person who can write anything syntactically legal run any query against a real DB of any sort.

Well, not my server, so. :P
You can do some pretty terrible things...but.

:o I've earned the Upholder badge.

@Shog9 Do you have any drink that you consume with two glasses? like one water other drink?

@moguzalpenel_hak do I, personally?
No.
But a carbomb is a classic with many variations

We have raki: one glass water and other glass raki

An Irish Car Bomb is a beer cocktail that is drunk as a bomb shot, similar to a boilermaker. It is made with Irish stout, Irish cream, and Irish whiskey. To make the drink, whiskey is floated on top of Irish Cream in a shot glass, and the shot glass is then dropped into the stout. Once mixed, it must be drunk quickly because it will curdle. While Kahlúa was part of the original recipe, it is often excluded from the drink today. Some refer to that original recipe as a Belfast Car Bomb. The "Irish" in the name refers to the drink's Irish ingredients; typically Guiness stout, Baileys Ir...

but I am not sure which one should I put left
Otherwise I am confused left or right :) I would I ask a suggestion about that
Raki (Turkish: rakı, Ottoman Turkish: راقى, ) is a Turkish unsweetened, anise-flavored hard alcoholic drink that is popular in Turkey, Greece, Albania, Serbia, Macedonia, and other Balkan countries as an apéritif. It is often served with seafood or meze. It is similar to several other alcoholic beverages available around the Mediterranean, the Middle East, and in Colombia, e.g., pastis, ouzo, sambuca, arak, and aguardiente. In the Balkans, however, "raki" refers to a non-anise-flavored drink made from distilled pomace, similar to Italian grappa, Greek tsipouro, Cretan tsikoudia (which i...
for the moment rakı on left water on right seems ok

Are you supposed to be able to follow/unfollow a proposal after it's entered commitment phase?
