But they're still amazing.

True Canadians know where I'm going with this.

Bring on the potatoes!

I'm not even a false Canadian, so I can't even claim to not know where you're going with this.
(what?)

@jadarnel27 You are a heathen and should be ashamed.
Poutine (; Quebec French pronunciation : ) is a Quebec dish, made with french fries, topped with brown gravy and curd cheese. Sometimes additional ingredients are added. Poutine is a fast food dish that originated in Quebec and can now be found across Canada, and is also found in some places in the northern United States. It is sold by national and international fast food chains, in small "greasy spoon" type diners (commonly known as "cantines" or "casse-croûtes" in Quebec) and pubs, as well as by roadside chip wagons (commonly known as "cabanes à patates", literally meaning "potat...
I am skeptical of most things that come out of Quebec, but poutine is the exception.

What do cheese curds taste like? I never could bring myself to eat something known as a 'curd'

Very mild squeaky cheddar cheese, really.
Cottage cheese is weirder as curds go.

Less weird than cottage cheese is encouraging. I remember my mother forcing me to eat that stuff. All I could do was douse it with so much salt and pepper that all I tasted was condiments. It was like cold, condiment based oatmeal.

Cheese curds are excellent, @tim. When fresh. And deep-fried. With beer.

@Shog9 Thinking about trying some with fried battered tofu

Now I'm hungry, heh.

A: 2012 Moderator Election - Town Hall Chat Digest

Tim Stone random asked user1504: As Ron Maimon's pet hamster, is there any collusion with his running around hammering another candidate again and again? Simply put, is he your Super PAC? user1504 answered: No, I do not collude with Ron. My biography is meant to indicate my respect for him and in p...

I still can't believe he actually asked that. :P

Ahahah
Is Ron Maimon the Ron Paul of Physics.SE?

That Town Hall was crazy
I dunno, but he seemed to take particularly strong issue with one of the candidates.

Yeah I can tell, skimming the digest right now
lol

Hello
On MathJax enabled sites markdown that looks like this is rendered incorrectly: the second code line has extra indentation.
Possibly related to this, I also left a note there.

Never a good sign when an OP posts a comment along the lines of "please read the question carefully and try to think about it so you understand why it is a good and legitimate question for SO."

10:08 PM
Sounds like "please close my question"

Quick question: It seems that the user who tags questions with the tag [facebook-friends] continues doing so despite this discussion: meta.stackoverflow.com/questions/152994/… Before this gets out of hand (by now we're talking about 50 questions) what should be done? Should I start untagging them and clean them up? Should we discuss more? Do I slap a bounty on the Meta question?

Untag them all!

Ha, I would say so indeed. Don't know if the input given on that question is enough "community consensus" to proceed

10:50 PM
@Bart You should retag them all to

@TimStone Ooh, just in time. I was going for
