Thanks jcolebrand for your invite!

@Rebecca, is this idea possible to implement on the back-end or are they completely separate systems? I'd really like to get the blog going on cross-validated.

ya know, we do watch metas...don't really need to ask about questions in here...maybe if it's been awhile and they didn't get attention... (;

hehehe. ok. sorry for the cross post. I just figured you do sleep from time to time, right?

Since you wanted to light a fire under the bloggers in cross-validated, I hoped you would want to weigh in.
(hoped you would miss the post in your weekly 30 minutes of slumber...)

pfft
I sleep lots! Just at weird times q:
you can see the gap in my activity graph.

hehe, I just figured those were the moments where current comments and questions were deemed unworthy of your contribution.

@MTibbits Aye. Nothing doing

For me, it should probably be time for bed. I've had six hours in 48. :O)

night :D

4:23 AM
Ok, where would I ask this? Just here in chat? chat.se? Webapps?
I am now going to be maintaining two twitter accounts. I want to use a web-client without having to continuously re-login on two accounts often. Where should I go? What should I use? One of those two accounts will be shared with someone else maintaining them.

if anyone has thoughts on this, feel free to at me

@jcolebrand On what? the ceiling? The color you picked was horrible. I'd go for something more of a red .. or beige...

There's that. There's also the question I asked previously

Oh... ask it on Webapps

Is it fair game there?
I will tomorrow.

Not sure... I just never liked them...
Sounds like it would be though
I commented on a post from a popular person. Now I my red box shows up every 5 seconds..
anyway, good night

Q: Help me defeat the barbarians in the [regex] tag!

bemaceAfter winding up on a regex question where literally every related question had the title "regular expression help" (with some variations in case and number of exclamation points) I kind of went on a crusade to give these questions distinct names. But I can't do it alone, there's just too many of...

Some ing is in order

yawns Hmm, I wonder why I keep waking up at three in the morning..

afternoon folks

@TimStone How much coffee did you take before going to bed

'Ello
@YiJiang My caffeine has been surprisingly limited lately :P

Anyway, 10k'ers are requested to head to the suggested edits queue to help approve the regex help title editors

7:21 AM
I should really work on getting 10K, because not having it is rather annoying.

A: PCI compliance issues for Magento running on Bluehost

Salvatore F. IozziaFirst off, yes you are in PCI compliance scope. If you do not outsource your card data, you will have to get expensive PCI compliant hosting and ASV scans. If you can outsource, you will save a lot of money. Secondly, I hate to come across as spammy, but our company provides a solution directly ...

Spam, or not?

Q: OH MY GOD, my PHP code!!!!!...

James SmithIt's completely distroyed, so many errors. http://nissanguild.com What does 'unexpected T_CONSTANT' mean?? The errors show line numbers.. what do I remove in these lines for this unexpected T_CONSTANT to go away? Thank you

11:40 AM
@YiJiang There's already a bug report about that, too :P

Would it be super disagreeable if I add a feature-request for replacing all literal tabs with 4 characters on post ingest?
to clarify: I don't mean display all tabs as 4 characters, the site already does that, I mean, change the backing post text, before rendering to be 4 characters

I think that was part of an existing feature request.
I've honestly never understood why it wasn't done that way.

I wrote a simple Chrome userscript to add a button to do it
but they changed the underlying page, and as I understand it, plan to do so again
so I'm waiting to update the script
but it seems silly they don't just input = input.replaceAll("\t"," ");

7:14 PM
I'm going to assume there's a reason I'm not thinking of, as far as doing it automatically goes. I dunno, though.

yeah, I'm actually thinking of adding some other buttons too, like indent/outdent block

7:28 PM
indent/outdent would be very useful when fixing poorly formatted questions from newbies.

@MTibbits I'm tempted to bind the functionality to the tab key, actually

@MarkElliot that would be wonderful!

anyone want a google plus invite?
