@ShadowtheWelcomingWizard I'll always remember kosher food to be great food, except breakfast!

@Fabby really?? Why? What was for breakfast?

(I do understand no bacon and eggs, but if I skip the dairy, can I have steak and eggs???)
Answer: no, that's a different kitchen.

In Israel all food in markets is Kosher so it's hard to get non kosher food.

My workaround: Can I open that kitchen then and cook my own food?
Well. you can guess what that answer was!
:D :D :D

@Fabby Yeah being Kosher is much more than just not allowing bacon.
In Israel there are often conflicts in army, where soldiers are not allowed to cook anything they bring from home.
Kitchen must be kept 100% Kosher.

8:38 PM
@ShadowtheWelcomingWizard Yup: I actually had a colleague that never came to any of my dinner parties, so I got his wife's phone number and she told me how to kasher everything in my kitchen, where to buy products and then cook!

@Fabby and did he come after that?
BTW, how did you notice I joined?? ;)

I had his wife drive him over to "this new Kosher restaurant" she found
@ShadowtheWelcomingWizard I didn't
Was going to leave that for tomorrow when you woke up...
0:-)
TBH: I also bought a lot of new stuff because some stuff was just too hard to kasher...
(cutting boards being one of them)
Funny thing is: new HIPAA rules are a lot like 3000 YO kosher rules!
The Jews had it right 3000 years before the rest of the world caught on
:D :D :D

@Fabby lol! And was he mad at her/you?
Kosher needs actual certificate, you know.

@ShadowtheWelcomingWizard he was laughing his arse off and never came because he didn't want me to go through all the hassle...
@ShadowtheWelcomingWizard Well... he wasn't that kosher...
(kosher, but not blessed by a rabbi: just follow all the rules: took me an entire day just to cook starter, main course and dessert.)

@Fabby huh.. good! So he ended up eating your food? :)

8:46 PM
Yeah, his wife helped me all day long...

@Fabby it's not about Rabbi blessing, it's someone qualified to perform all the tests and approve it's kosher.
And of course, it costs lots of money to the business...

@ShadowtheWelcomingWizard Ah, well, I supposed his wife did that part.

@Fabby and for free! :D

Well, they both got a nice free meal out of it and I learned a lot
:D ;-)

Yup
Wasn't he bit worried you spent so much time with his wife, only you and her? ;)

8:48 PM
He was a colleague, and I'm Italian: I would never touch anyone's wife.

So? It happens between best friends, in movies at least.... :D

Nah! Not here...

Love Triangles are about the most common theme in drama movies... ;)
Huh! You naughty boy! :P

Some mistakes in life you've got to make yourself...
You know it's not going to work out before you start,
but hey, I was 20-something and didn't know which one to chose, so...
¯\_(ツ)_/¯

@Fabby lol... hope at least you had some fun while it lasted.... :D

8:54 PM
For 2 weeks it was fun... The falling down from the clouds back to Earth was.. brutal...

Well never did it so can't really know...

9:20 PM
It's not worth it... Better to concentrate on one thing...

1 hour later…
