@ShadowWizardLoveZelda Apparently, the ICC is likely to send out arrest orders for 3 Israeli leaders within a week, two of them being Benjamin and the IDF leader. It'll be interesting to see what that leads to.

@ShadowWizardLoveZelda I'm not sure what the eventual ideal situation could be. A land-divided Palestine, or a merger of Palestine and Israel. Eventually, of course. Living peacefully within the same country is probably an impossibility right now.

Not sure if that could even work out eventually. From what I hear, many ethnical and/or religious Jews find the idea of a Jewish state a necessity. Unfortunately, right now, for instance, that means lesser rights to non-Jewish citizens within the country (not talking about occupied land, but land originally given from the UN).

@ShadowWizardLoveZelda I propose finding a new bit of land (Dutch are good at 'making' land :P), and putting every civilian (both Palestinian and Israeli) that wants to live in peace on there in a new, big city with good houses (solar panels, heat pumps, airconditioning, wind/water power, good public transit and plenty of jobs and such, let's just build Utopia). Anyone that doesn't can use the current Israel/Gaza area to play war :P

@Marco yes and it's indeed fight against terrorist organization, but the fact everyone miss is that it's more than just organization. Like ISIS, it became something bigger, that is planted deep in the Palestinian population roots. While not all of them are terrorists, I do belive major part of them do support the idea of Hamas which is have Palestine the only country, and eliminiate Israel. Should they all die for those desires? No.

So we can't beat that, that's what I meant.

and, the same can be applied to Israel itself: majority of our own people support eliminating Gaza and all of its people.

We can only pray somehow things will be... almost normal... again, at some point. :)

@ShadowWizardLoveZelda Well, those rockets are fired by Hamas, and Hamas is attracting new members due to 2 reasons (simplified): desperation in regards to the oppression from Israel on Gaza, and anger over Israel's continued expansion and crimes on the West Bank.

If I lived in Gaza, stuck there for my entire life, limited supplies from elsewhere, forced into a small chunk with not many opportunities ahead of me, yet trying my best to live a fruitful life... to then one day experience my entire family and friends killed by the IDF's deliberate bombing of civilians, what would I be supposed to do? I do imagine myself looking to Hamas in that situation. I would wish to fight for the little I had left, and I would not know how else I could stand up for me

and my people.
