Hi aymen selmi, welcome to the Stack Exchange Network Meta site! I'm not sure which search brought you here but the problem you describe will not be answered on this specific site. To get an expert's answer for the topic of your question you'll have to find and then re-post on the proper site. Check How do I ask a good question and What is on topic on the target site to make sure your post is in good shape. Your question is definitely off-topic on Meta and is better deleted here. — rene 48 secs ago

@This_is_NOT_a_forum well almost every word and abbreviation can be misused, but as Tink said above, we can just have the artificial-intelligence tag. — Shadow The Spring Wizard 49 secs ago

I would not touch something that already works very well. There are other problems to be focused on, changing the style of vote buttons is easily going to make them worse imo. — lemon 28 secs ago

Goodness gracious Miss Bella Blue, I'm perplexed by the presence of this post on Meta. There was widespread opposition to this change in the past, and this post is yet-again downvoted to oblivion. I hope that the staff at Stack Exchange can "read the room" and recognize that that this unpopular change is strongly rejected by the community. And I hope that the moderators can see that we, the community, respectfully would like to make it clear that these downvotes and comments show clear opposition to this change. — Michael Altfield 7 secs ago

There is no "problem" to be fixed. And that wouldn't do anything anyway; in the best case, you'd get a comment saying what the tooltip on the downvote arrow already gives as the reason for downvoting. — Cody Gray 57 secs ago

Thank you, rene. I don't have access to my computer till Monday, I'll give your solution a shot then, but I am pretty confident it works :) Regarding the approach to normalize the data, here's a link from CV: stats.stackexchange.com/questions/13267/…M-- 47 secs ago

If you follow the migration it says that was closed too for "Not suitable for this site", I have been a stack-overflow member for 11 years, and the original post spawning that question being closed, I have no idea why or how to find out? The whole process is confusing at best, seemingly rude overall. Other than trial and error how are people supposed to navigate this better vs getting frustrated and leaving? — Sabre 32 secs ago

Apologies, that was you moving it, it later reads "Post Locked by Community [Bot]" so still no idea why anywhere in that chain, I am seeking help and getting shut down. — Sabre 52 secs ago

The post is not closed on Meta Server Fault, where it was migrated to. The migration reason is given in Glorfindel's answer: " it related to a specific question on a single site". Note that this site (Meta Stack Exchange) is for issues relating to multiple sites or the network as a whole. Anything specific to a single site is best handled by that site. — bobble 23 secs ago

@Sabre When a question is migrated to another site, it's closed on the original site. Otherwise it would've been a copy instead of a migration. This question of yours is not closed on ServerFault meta. — Mast 30 secs ago

Ok, that makes more sense, just was not immediately evident. Stack exchange is a huge place, and not always the easiest to navigate. And I know that makes maintenance a time consuming task, also individual discussions on every post closing would be a drain on that. But a post could be possibly quarantined or something until someone DID have time to add something constructive? We answer others questions, we could just as easily have a "question assistance" site where those go to live until better written? As it is now, it just feels like a slamming door and a sign that reads try harder. — Sabre 17 secs ago

@Sabre if you're upset about the question being migrated, please don't see it as being closed so much as being moved. If you're upset about your Server Fault question being closed, that's a topic for Server Fault meta. — bobble 57 secs ago
[ Boson light ] New comment posted by Sabre
Its not really upset, as much as complete misunderstanding on how to proceed. At least this part makes better sense now. The other is still bewildering however. I would love to fix the question because I still need an answer, how to even begin to do that though I beyond what I can glean from the vague information provided through the lock/close process of it. So thank you both for at least explaining this one :-) — Sabre 41 secs ago

@This_is_NOT_a_forum George Box most famously wrote "Essentially, all models are wrong, but some are useful." Consider the history of models of the solar system, and how they have changed over time Ptolemaic, Copernican epicycles, Keplerian, and relativistic. My point is that although those models have become more accurate, a scientist might very well be jaded enough to assume that no one of them is 'correct.' You may if you wish assume whatever you want, and if so, you will not try to falsify a hypothesis, will be subject to confirmation bias, and will never be a scientist. — Carl 28 secs ago

@StingyJack You see, if the user was removed, they wouldn't have an account or a user page, so theoretically you cannot visit a non-existent page. Just like I said in the answer, the user is now gray and only listed with their user number instead of their set name on any of their posts, which means you cannot click on their icon in any of their posts. As such, they have no user page since that user no longer exists. — Hudson 37 secs ago
