Was holding my iPad by the smart cover earlier, while helping with pre Passover cleaning and the iPad decided it was heavier than the max smart cover weight. So it fell but it bounced out of the just-big-enough iPad 2 backing case from Belkin. Still seems to work, but I get nervous when LTE isn't blazing fast.

@Lix: Well, if you are AT-replying to someone, it would make much more sense to identify them by their avatars than by their user ID in that box.

Then you can get something like:

[AVA] Name
[TAR] UID

Image at the left, name in normal/bold black and UID in a light gray color.

Yea - I think you are right - it would help... although the default gravatars are also not too helpfull in this case... they are unique but not unique enough IMO :)

also adding an image would enlarge the auto-complete display considerably...

The RFC says the part before the @ can technically be case-sensitive; I doubt any provider actually treats it that way
