I may have missed happy hour by a bit
Whatever.
I got 6 hours of sleep last night
which was more sleep than I've had all week
I'm positively giddy

user202362
I slept 11 hours

user202362
last night

The shots of Jameson may have influenced this as well

My IQ during the day is positively correlated with the amount of the sleep I had the previous night (up to 8 hours)

Town Hall on the Meta

Hey, I hope y'all recognized that the Town Hall is on 5/5

And I have a test the next day. I hope you're happy.

Otherwise known as the American Holiday of Cinco De Mayo
You need to celebrate by attending the townhall with a big, strong Margarita
And a big jar of Miracle Whip
The Unmayo™

user202362
1:29 AM
well, in order for meta to have a town hall, it probably also needs a police station, a couple of peddlers, a black smith and a clinic

You need some Unmayo™, 'cause it's easy to overdose on Margaritas
You could easily end up with Seis De Mayo without some Unmayo™

How am I supposed to study after all of this... preparation?

Police station? Did you mean Charcoal HQ? (it's on chat.SE though)

In psychology, context-dependent memory refers to improved recall of specific episodes or information when the context present at encoding and retrieval are the same. One particularly common example of context-dependence at work occurs when an individual has lost an item (e.g. lost car keys) in an unknown location. Typically, people try to systematically "retrace their steps" to determine all of the possible places where the item might be located. Based on the role that context plays in determining recall, it is not at all surprising that individuals often quite easily discover the lost item upon...

> Research has also shown that context-dependence may play an important role in numerous situations, such as memory for studied material, or events that have occurred following the consumption of alcohol or other drugs.

1:32 AM
and now you have your solution.

Mmm I'm not so sure that's a good solution...
I'd just be hoping I remembered the material.

user202362
@shog I hope you are under alcohol influence, because I am about to make some indecent proposal: if you disassociate the question I have posted on April fools day that incurred net downvotes and was consequently deleted, I will post some videos of mini drone chasing my chickens when I get the drone in the mail in the next 2-3 weeks (because my shameless chickens could not wait to have their videos posted on the internet).

Something I've noticed a while ago on Math, but now it appears to be network-wide. The traffic is down from Fall 2015 level, reversing the prior growth pattern.

user315433
stackexchange.com (which doesn't include SO, of course) hit 150M in October 2015, but stayed below this mark since then.

Another point of view is that Fall 2015 was an aberration. If this bump is erased from the chart, the rest is slow but steady growth.

@tchrist So complaining? :P

@hichris123 I see you have apprehended human nature.

I wouldn't call that an earth-shattering revelation though...

The more you complain, the older you get.

3:40 PM
@hichris123 Did something happen? I still see complaining about too many approvals, as well.
In fact, I think there's more complaining about the approvals than about the rejections.

@hichris123 They're orthogonal really. You can grow old without complaining.
....but what's the point of growing old if you can't complain about How Everything Was Better In Your Time, and about Kids These Days? :-P
@hichris123 Ah, I missed the newest one of those.
For the other one, even LRiO says the edit should have been approved. The reviewers should have read the Edit Summary and verified if it was correct.
I was still looking at this one. TL;DR : a reviewer got a manual review suspension over a bad approval. And asks for clarification.
