There is an interesting glitch to US citizenship. If you want to transmit your citizenship to your kids, you need to live in the US for at least 4 years consecutive past your 14'th birthday.
Hopping around the globe is cool, I recommend it to anyone :) But the diplomatic quirks are interesting.
Yes, our daughter. She is a US Citizen (Dual , actually). If she wants to transmit her US citizenship to her kids, she has to live in the US for four consecutive years at least one day past her 14'th birthday.
If there is one thing any Filipino hates, it is paying interest. Banks and developers understand that here, they just want to keep building new developments and getting venture capital based on the occupancy rate of their last venture. :)
@TimPost @drachenstern I see. I always wondered if using the wrong flag would mean the flag would be ignored, but I guess someone would have to read the flagged post in any case.
Just realize, especially on SO, your flag is one of many. Prepend the reason you are flagging followed by the motivation. For instance, "URGENT: I saw this idiot on 4chan, flagging because ... "
looks like questions that are multiline cause the OP's name to be cutoff... so if you search C# questions by newest and scroll down to a multilined questions, youll see it gets cut off (ex: Inject dependency on both a registered type and a concrete object into a constructor with Unity)
I've asked for a screenshot, I can't seem to grok/repro
> When I get older, I will be stronger > They’ll call me freedom, just like a Waving Flag > And then it goes back, and then it goes back > And then it goes back (repeat x infinity)
In this answer a few months, there is talk of eventually rolling out a Stack Overflow chat.
I'm curious, is there any kind of projected release date or anything on Stack Overflow chat?
@MichaelMrozek come on, really? he's been on meta enough to figure things out, and the links are plastered all over, and the blog mentions it and and and and and
Ok, someone asked me something interesting, so I'm asking you lot ... a visual way to modify CSS rules for someone who doesn't know CSS ... results can be stored however you like, it'll be added into a frontend and stored in a CMS (so stored as text) .. CSS does not affect the page in question.
nice ... thouhgt i had hit a bug where i woudl go to the bank and always get funazushi every time ... i was just unlucky 2x in a row didn't happen again
My images in my app are all 2x (or more) the size that they appear at. But for some reason, some of these images are appearing at their original size on the screen, when testing on a device, and so appear 2x as large as they do in interface builder and on the simulator. And some are appearing at ...
The test below returns false when $haystack = "my keyword" and $needle = "my keyword", presumably because my stripos test returns 0 since there is no empty space in the barn.
What do I need to change in the comparison to return true in this case?

More proof that Grace Note isn't human, but rather a bot written by waffles or balpha or someone for the express purpose of messing with me: meta.stackoverflow.com/questions/76738/… (see comment)
Well, at least @PopularDemand can find comfort in the fact that the elaborate plot targeting him was only an unfortunate stepping stone in the plot against the actual target, @MichaelMrozek.
To be fair, we did determine the other day that I was a sockpuppet of Rebecca Chernoff who was in turn a sock puppet of Grace Note (or something) so you probably shouldn't trust me.
I'm using IE 8.0.6001.18702 running on Windows XP Pro V2002 SP3. When the question is multilined, the rep seems to get cut off.

Let me know if you need more information.
My unofficial guess, based on what I've seen in the past, is that the team will reply thus:
This would add a significant level of complexity to the system on our end and provide little meaningful benefit. We recommend that you just keep a local file of notes.
I would agree with such a stance.
@TimStone Serves you right for spending three minutes getting the mail. Don't tell me you're doing something barbaric, like physically leaving your dwelling and retrieving the mail by hand from a postal container of some kind. This is why humans invented rovio!
@MichaelMrozek Hey, the only post-post post edit I made was to add a horizontal rule and revising the last sentence of the first paragraph. Victory was mine by typist skills, not posting first.
I'm not going to deny any of the stuff about being designed solely to destroy Popular Science here, though.
Heh. You're all right, @Grace Kelly. First drink's on me when we run across each other outside of Stack Exchange. I say this knowing full well that that day will never come.
@drachenstern I guy i know keeps posting status messages on various social networks saying "I am ready to help 4 people make their fortunes on the internet today". I asked him what it is that he does to make money. He spewed something about converting email addresses to cash.
