Makes you wonder what role that OP has on the project? Maybe he is the buildmaster and only has access to build tools but not to the actual source code...?
Or he is just to confused to understand what he is doing...
@balpha: why does the 'just fine' link in my answer here not work?
I cannot seem to create a text link to http://stackoverflow.com/questions/23741106/why-does-node-js-assert-js-use-value-in-their-code-what-purpose-does-it-ser?noredirect=1#comment36497903_23741106 anywhere.
It appears to be the title of that link that is tripping things up.
Replaced it with a link to a different comment, http://stackoverflow.com/questions/23741106/why-does-node-js-assert-js-use-value-in-their-code-what-purpose-does-it-ser?noredirect=1#comment36498545_23741106.
If you're active in less popular tags it can take a while. If I compare my SO and MSE rep progress it takes longer on MSE but so be it. it doesn't make me unhappy that is just how it is. I'm just not good in discussions and I'm not able to learn that. On SO I could re-activate my cobol or prolog knowledge.
What's the best online reference for JSF tags?
Nothing much turns up in Google for this technology, so I find it really hard to know what tag to use and when. Mostly I find examples of people asking "how do I do XXX" - I want the document the people answering have read!
I just need a simple lis...
I am making a little file compressor that is able to compress a file/folder into a .zip format. However i'd like to add a progress-bar to indicate the compression process.
How could I make that possible?
I am using .Net framework 4.5 and system.io.compression.filesystem in my application.

@CarrieKendall I honestly try to explain what might have happened. I totally agree that the answer and the question are useless now and should go and I have done everything to reach that goal.
What is the "Not an Answer" flag?
What is the purpose of this flag?
When should I use this flag?

I think we can all agree, this sucks:
If you've been around a little while, you've probably encountered hundreds of answers like this in various forums, some of them even marked as "The Answer" by well-meaning1 forum admins looking to close a thread. We could try to enumerate the commonly-obse...
@JanDvorak: In that case I'll repeat what I said to TGMCians not long ago - the problem isn't the answer but the question. If you look at that answer in the context of the question, the links (if they were valid) would be an answer. So flag/vtc the question. (And if that type of question was valid, the titles should usually be enough to fix the links - not the case here)
@TGMCians: if I see you putting normal words in code formatting again, I will hunt you down to slap you with a very large trout. (Then we can cook it and eat it if you like that.)
@Shog9 wanted to update you the dupe hammer is working out great, just today a friend from the PHP room wrote a canonical answer to a commonly asked questions and I closed almost 50 dupes that were tagged javascript.
