I think that Firefox decided that you were trying to wrap the tags around everything, so it started adding them implicitly everywhere, where the other browsers realized you can't possibly have meant that because it doesn't make sense, heh.

Hmm, come to think of it, my first "programming" course was a web design course in middle school. I guess I started out with that stuff after all, heh. These days I do all sorts of stuff, although my C is mediocre at best. I do quite a bit better reading it than writing it.

I think it is more a thing of certain userids pushing their reputation, in other words gaming the system to circumvent chat suspensions.
