Q: List of Stack Exchange 1.0 sites

TimIs there a list of Stack Exchange 1.0 sites available? The Wikipedia article for Stack Exchange links to question #4 on Meta, but it seems not to exist.

This has to be a duplicate, but I can't find it

@ChrisF Give @TimStone a few mins. :)

@ChrisF Well, the list was on meta.stackexchange.com I think..

A: Is this a Stack Exchange website?

S.MarkIt is a stackexchange website, here is the list (copy pasted from meta.stackexchange.com google cache) Business answers.yallastartup.org - Q&A site to discuss entrepreneurship in the Middle East & North Africa. AskAboutProjects - Project management (of all flavors: PMI, Agile, Scru...

I'm sure there was a question, but it could have been closed (and by now deleted) when the original meta.stackexchange went live
Or @RebeccaChernoff could have found it ;)

Ah, nice job @SMark :)

10:07 PM
?

@TimStone s/.// (;

@ChrisF Copying the list from the Google cache of the old question
@RebeccaChernoff Hmm? ;)

@TimStone Ah - I didn't scroll all the way down
would be considered a meta tag?

I remembered that Popular Demand had gone through and put a comment on anything linking to meta.stackexchange.com's list-of-all-sites post, and I remembered one of them had the cache copy, so just had to search those comments to find the right post.

because there are 71 questions with that tag and a quick scan shows a lot of them to be about "best practice"

Hi again! :)

I'm gonna go ask a bunch of questions with [tag:barely-good-enough-to-get-by-practices], brb.

@RebeccaChernoff Ah, yeah...

user153011
@RebeccaChernoff it's too long :P

Hmm wait, I thought the limit was 50?
shrugs

Isn't it 25 characters for tags?

10:14 PM
@balpha, youtube.com/watch?v=PsBYBugvDek has been suggested

nope :\

@RebeccaChernoff I hate you now

user153011

@ChrisF Yes it is.

@Nyuszika7H Now that's a programmer.

user153011
@RebeccaChernoff It's for statuses.

user153011
@RebeccaChernoff oh thanks for that, favorited on yt

@ChrisF looking in the code works too (;

@RebeccaChernoff That's cheating

How is everyone doing?
Better than I am I hope! :-)

10:25 PM
I'm cursing balpha for sending me off on a hunt for this song that supposedly exists.

user153011

But what's wrong with you?

user153011
*clap* *clap* *clap* party!!

Server migration not going as smoothly as I would like. SAN crashed again this morning ~1:30AM as I was copying files off it (again)

10:26 PM
Ah, damn. :/

Wondering what to do next...

Not good

user153011
Is it an endless loop?!

No. And I am migrating because the SAN failed last week. But, moving data kills the SAN, apparently. It's a circular death ring!
@Nyuszika7H Yes. And endless loop OF PAIN

user153011
function PAIN() {
    setTimeout(PAIN, 0);
}

user153011
10:29 PM
And this doesn't cause a stack overflow exception. :)

imgur isn't loading for me at the moment :(

Q: On a failing hard drive, I am able to view data but unable to copy it - why?

TomI have a 2.5" external hard drive that is failing. It's not making the expected 'clicking' noise that most hard drives and I am able to view the data, but I am unable to actually retrieve the data. I attempted to use SpinRite in order to access the data on the drive, but it didn't like the exte...

Don't know if this applies

@ChrisF Thanks... this is a custom built solution by my datacenter; it's an iSCSI connection, and what's happening is that the iSCSI connection is broken (tcp connection) I assume it's a driver issue but am unsure
It's a "storage in the cloud" crapola thing

@TheOutOfStarsException Ah, didn't know if the same techniques would work - just happened to see the question as I passed by

I'm starting to think that what I've got in my head is a mixture of

and
that's very unsatisfying though

Me and another mod on web apps just converted an answer to a comment at the same time - so now there's a duplicate comment!

teamwork!

\o/
@balpha If that's true, than my previous statement about you being crazy is correct.

like anyone ever doubted that...

10:36 PM
Which concerns me, because now I feel like I've definitely heard that tune before too...

You have. It's the song I linked to. |:
lol

@balpha I just listened to the MP3, it's "Feed the world" as Chribecca said

I'm not convinced. :P

@TheOutOfStarsException I think you'll find I suggested that first

10:38 PM
though @ChrisF....bah
type slower @ChrisF please (:

@ChrisF I have corrected my answer

@RebeccaChernoff Only if you send me a Stack Overflow t-shirt ;)

@ChrisF get in line after Moshe ;-)

it is something that always reminds me of that song, so it's not quite wrong -- but it's not only that either. I really think what I have in my head is a mixture of that and the J.A.G theme
which sucks, because it means there'll be no "DAMNIT YES! THAT IT!" moment

Well I am not sure what's in your head... you whistled "Feed The World" LOL

10:40 PM
rofl

All I can suggest @balpha is a visit to this room to erase that tune from your head, replacing it with something better:
I recommended some Rush music
But that's probably because I have been creating lots of new servers named after Rush songs, LOL

@TheOutOfStarsException I have three things in my head: a) "Don't you know it's christmas time at all", b) "Following in his father's footsteps as a naval aviator", and c) "never talk back to @RebeccaChernoff, because you're gonna regret it"

I know c) well
Unplug your appliances now @balpha

@balpha I feel both are equally applicable here. (:

Welcome @Jacob, how goes?

@TheOutOfStarsException hello

It's already six? Hmm...whoops.

yeeey, I've finally uploaded a youtube video that had enough views to enable the hot spot insight graph

Q: Dear stack overflow

IainPlease engage your collective brains for just a second. That is a crappy question, and you damn well know it. You should have closed it, not migrated it so we can put it out of its misery instead. Best regards, The people with a brain

Thanks to the SuperCollider enticing me with a gaming.se question, I am now hooked on Desktop Dungeons.

@TheOutOfStarsException OY?

rchern, we have a user who needs to be edumicated...

@TimStone well, look!
I like the new look @Fosco
This reminds me. @TimStone your gravatar is still lacking in personality

@TheOutOfStarsException Hehe, thanks )
Yeah I had an interview on Thursday, so I trimmed up and got a haircut
and I've lost 15 pounds so far this year.

Good for you
I am not doing well on my goal to get in shape, LOL

@TheOutOfStarsException It depends on what shape you're aiming for.

@TheOutOfStarsException Yeah, yeah, that's the next step. :P
I can't believe I just wasted an hour and a half listening to theme songs.

11:26 PM
LOL

Since it's not like I have super important work to get done or anything..

OK, I gtg, catch you guys later!

See ya.
