Q: Extend Careers to other sites (like Ask Ubuntu), not just Stack Overflow

@Pandya well, the Developer Story is actually a Résumé, so on second thought there's no point to have it outside Stack Overflow, as the whole Jobs thing is also tied only to Stack Overflow and meant for programmers. So sorry for misleading before, didn't think it through.

That said, if at some point Jobs will be extended, e.g. to look for chefs on cooking, or game developers on arqade, there will be a point to have the Developer Story on other sites, though with different names.

There are many useful communities on Stack Exchange besides Stack Overflow, like Ask Ubuntu, Super User, which are used by many talented and expert users (in a particular field). Why don't these communities have a career website and why doesn't Careers provide job opportunities to users of these ...

Q: "Close as duplicate" - what if only the answer is a duplicate?

@ShadowWizard btw, I think if answer to question A also answers to question B, then B can be closed as duplicate of A.

@Pandya pretty much correct, doing it a lot on MSE. But not sure it also applies for other sites. @rene what do you think?

@ShadowWizard yeah, that works on SO as well but also leads to disgruntled askers if you close to a canonical or a cross-language question. But that is often because the asker is hoping on a made to order/perfect fit answer instead of having to do some effort themselves. Not sure how that works on more theoretical/psychological sites though... cc @Pandya.

hehe, good point... so it means our dear flower will become a very big flower..... :P

I do have ice cream stashed, 1.33L package that lasts for about a month - I put small amount in the evening coffee every day. ;)
