@DamienPaul its not complicated at all, you already have the code, from the link you posted yourself and I told you you can write it in onDestroy on application class. This is just too simple....I don't even know if it can, by any case, get any simpler :/

I think you are missing something or doing something wrong. "Cannot resolve symbol" must be related to some variable you are typing, like context or something else

on a difficulty scale of 10, with 1 being least difficult and 10 being most difficult, I'd say the problem your are solving(clear database on app exit) cannot be stretched beyond 2, in any given case. :/
