I rejoined this site in Winter Bash 2017, noticed Shadow's name in the chat, and made an off-hand comment that his name reminded me of Shadow the Hedgehog from the Sonic series of games. The rest is history.

@Tinkeringbell PS: did you ever noticed that Pokemon Diamond / Pearl remake is indeed censored if you choose Dawn? Apparently the issues with floor reflections started there, so during battle if you use her (or fight anyone with a skirt).... the rendering quality of the floor is drastically decreased.

Luckily it is hard to notice but seems still an odd solution... Just don't have mirror floors instead?

Yep, that happens when a game cuts on the customization options, only give you school uniforms that probably are a pain trigger for many students that still have to dye their hair black in 2022.... and even then manage to be very poorly optimized, even with all the cut work on outfits models.

The new pokemon game advertised the ability to use any outfit on any character gender (usual female/male option at the start) YET at the same time removed any form of traditional female outfits. You can only wear one of four school uniforms, and every single one has pants. Rumors say this was made to avoid problems because one single location in the game has a reflective floor.

@ShadowTheKidWizard The point about hair dye was made because only recently Japan finally started to work to have school abolish old rules that in some case required horrible things like dye your hair black or only wear white underwear (please - no joke. The fact such a rule exist is horrible and is no ground for toilet humor). So, while the forced uniforms already resonate pretty bad with players outside Japan because they are ugly, they have ground to be pain trigger for Japanese students too.

@SPArcheon school uniform is good for discipline, forcing to wear shirts with one color and the school logo is fair and I do like it. But when it becomes more than that, well, you're right.

School is very light version of army.

There is hierarchy, there are clear rules. So uniform is expected.

I always take time watching something, sometimes 1.5 times the actual duration, others, 2 times that. If it's a series, I might do worse and make a break of multiple days.
