Trying out a traditional computer mouse with a ball at the bottom

I'm used to a slower cursor, so with my previous optical mouse I had it set to just under half speed. But with this new mouse, I have to set it to the second-fastest setting to get a similar speed. Those who prefer faster cursors will be unsatisfied.

@πάνταῥεῖ not yet, CEO of my company decided to keep working as usual as long as technically possible, i.e. as long as there are no soldiers blocking the way.

But looks like that's where we're headed, so most likely this week I'll also be forced to work only from home.

I work less due to kids being at home 24/7 and wife can't possibly stay with them all day long, but when I work, better at office, less distractions.

Our company prepared well to enable enough server capacity and bandwith starting from several weeks ago. If you try it at once, you're likely to fail with that.

What is perfectly infuriating about the Freys is that they justify their pettiness and betrayal by masking it with justice or morals

Unfortunately I can't find any information around these keywords what exactly it was.

@djsmiley2kTMW That doesn't seem like it makes sense unless your wife is actually tested for SARS-CoV2. Otherwise I'd expect the quarantine duration to be the longest possible one for all members of a household

it's 14 days from the time the first person get symtoms

shouldn't it be from the last person?

If someone else has symtoms, they need to wait at least 7 days from the first symtoms even if that than falls outside of the original 14 day window

@MadScientist no, because my wife isn't going to become infectious again

so once she's done her 7 days, shes technically allowed out, but they haven't gone into that level of detail
