Such gems ...

@rene spammers are surprisingly eloquent at times

Sorrry for my dark humor, but if the majority of the voters are roughly Normal, they'd have deleted their accounts once...

@ShadowWizard a wizard is needed here ...

What's gotten into me? I wrote an answer on both SO and ELU this morning, neither of which is a usual occurrence. :O
@rene I can be a wizard at times, but I can't help you... :P

Random rant of the day: Anyone who makes a web page with auto-play video, or audio, (when that's not specifically what you visit the site for) should be burnt alive.

But then they won't learn. Just show them Geocities, and if they like it, whip their feet.

Unfortunately, some Wikia resorts to big auto-play video

Side note: I even disable autoplay on Youtube.

I guess we could auto-play a welcoming video to new contributors for 6 to 8 weeks ...

Or maybe tie them to their chair in front of their computer and have random sites open on some random interval where about half the sites will blast sound at max volume. And all of them should play dubstep. Bonus points if multiple sites playing sound open at the same time, any such site drags the browser to a halt. Reminds me of something.
... and sites should show up silently at a random tab position, and just sit there for a few seconds before starting to play the video.

4:22 PM
No need to randomize tab position if the user is tied up

@rene hmm? No highlight for some reason, just conversation between @too and @πάνταῥεῖ which I can't see how it is related to wizards... :)

Maybe they should still have some limited control over their computer, so they can futilely try to close tabs to stop the video. But it never stops. As soon as they close it, another one just pops up again. Eventually their spirit will be broken and they will just give up.

... and when they do, their computer should reassure them it's never gonna give them up.

Reminds me of a Japanese animation about Internet Explorer 888...
