@ClemensHimmer I code in android, ios, xamarin, unity etc. @berser in android. @Uni is a server side, @Sha is server side, @Pro is server side @Moo is server side @Nikola is designer and there are others too, whom I missed because I am dumb
@DroidDev Yeah i learned Java and Android back in school, but not really my case. And no full stacks? I get tired of just front-end / back-end real quick. :o
@DroidDev currently working on a digital signage project with a JS stack, basically this kind of stuff, webapps, but hey, i won't say no to simple webpages either :)
@ClemensHimmer yup this whole chaining and asynchronous stuff can be problematic... I gave up trying to do things like batch insert, using stored procedure instead for example.
@ClemensHimmer sure, but I bumped into several cases where single query failing to execute caused the whole server to freeze when done in chain of promises. That's a total showstopper, since I can't know when something will fail.
Looks like that when chained, there's no handling of failures, and it's causing some weird crash behind the scenes.
(using transaction too of course, so maybe related)
@ShadowWizard well i didn't use stored procedures yet tbh no idea :) thinking about switching to a mongodb too, when i read those docs i'll eventually learn something new anyways
and reading what i just coded is already a pain lol!
@ClemensHimmer Unfortunately there is no official chat API, so I'm using github.com/Manishearth/ChatExchange which communicates with chat using websockets and HTTP requests.
