One of the main guidelines at Stack Exchange is that we are open by default. So, I'm excited to announce that we're open-sourcing StackExchange.Precompilation, a tool to help you bring faster pre-compile times and Roslyn (DNX inspired) goodies to your old ASP.NET MVC 5 project.

@Feeds 404?

apparently they don't correctly solve github.io domain name

The one with apt-get did attempt to answer that question; my beef with it was that the advice was very generic, and failed (as witnessed by the OP) to solve the specific problem. If it was something more substantial, even wrong, I would look at it differently. But "use apt-get..."

user259867
You see what it does to your nice heuristic for spam, @hichris123 ?

user259867
When I see that an image is hyperlinked, I assume it's on purpose: clicking it will lead me to some additional information (such as full size image, or a video from which the image is taken, etc). The new approach defeats this expectation by making everything hyperlinked, most of the time without a reason. The Markdown sources are now uglier too. And all this is to save -- on rare occasion when it's needed -- the trouble of right-clicking and opening full image in another tab? With the new system, I am probably still going to open in another tab, because I need the text of the question too. — Normal Human 4 hours ago
