@rene the same user, who tried to compare dates by converting them to strings, is now trying to sort a list according to...wait for it...BOOLEANS!!

@DroidDev OMG
Where's the nearest window I can jump out of?

hihahahaha
@Unihedro I have one just besides me :P

only if my CTO wasn't sitting behind me, I'd laugh myself to death

But... I value my life more than that :P

@DroidDev I did :P

Heya @InfiniteRecursion :) how's you?
finally showed tongue to @Droid ;-P

lol, @Uni you are expecting too much. Please read above message: the same user, who tried to compare dates by converting them to strings

too broad?

12:06 PM
@DroidDev I am well aware, I also saw noobs learners trying to use (int) (Object) "12" to parse a string. But sorting with booleans are utterly outrageous. :P

@DroidDev yeah.. saw :)

@Unihedro haha, all the best, I hope she remotely tries to understand. But, according to experience, she'll just ask for code in another room

or by other account

I think these two accounts are of same user, possibly used to ask question on SO, when one hits the limit. Possible proof. What should be done in this case?

What is the correct discipline? Might sign up and suggest spanking, chinese burns and the good old belt.

nowadays people just put their diaries on facebook or is it twitter

@bluet yup, people tend to facebook their problems, rather then facing them

@DroidDev The definition of love has changed greatly in the past ~20 years thanks to entertainment outlets. Things you see on TV can, and do, warp your views of the real world.

Nice. If you copy code, at least change the name of variables :) stackoverflow.com/a/28087509/993547

@Mooseman Ugh, mass media theory.

@PatrickHofman But they have a link to w3schools!

@Unihedro Why am I getting kicked from HTML/CSS/Web Design? :o

in Shadow's Den, Jan 15 at 7:54, by DroidDev
Murder, crime, poverty, these things don't concern me. What concerns me are celebrity magazines, television with 500 channels, some guy's name on my underwear. Rogaine, Viagra, Olestra.

@Mooseman I think they're kicking everyone because of a spam/offensive flag wave.
Other than that, I have no idea, I haven't been kicking anyone at all.

@Mooseman That makes it all good.
:)

@Unihedro I was handling flags, not raising them...

12:36 PM
maybe, they thought that you aren't handling them with proper care :P

@PatrickHofman w3schools is BEST! i haz lerned all their!!!!11!!!
@DroidDev I was declining spam flags. so...
(The flags were spam, not the message)

@Mooseman I has no idea. You can try justifying your existence, or mod flag if you believe something was done wrongly that deserves mod attention.

Sigh, now it's 7:38 and I'm up already.

Who handles chat flags now anyway? I thought it used to be 10k users active in any room would be notified but since reaching 10k on EE.SE I've never seen any while I've been in the room there.

@bjb568 U SHUD SLEEP MOAR

And when I'm awake, 20% of the time help vamps really are invading my room, so I would yell and rage and stop the craziness.

@DroidDev I know :(

!se help vampires

@PeterJ Chat flags are (supposed to be) rare. I've seen them here, and I'm only 10k on SO.

@Mooseman, thanks. The only chat flag I've ever raised was on my on post when I linked an offensive post without thinking it would remain once Q was deleted and it caused a sudden influx into the room :)

@bjb568 Yes, you should use more specific selectors. I have a highlight class that needs to override the background-color.

@Mooseman Override background color from what?

12:46 PM
.highlight.in{ background: #ffff99 !important; }
Overrides the element's normal background-color. .highlight is added via jQuery.

omgwhathaveidone
@Mooseman What's .in?

Need more code.
Like the other background-color things.
But looks like it needs a CSS animation.

@Mooseman Uh oh oh crap all your code is awful you are beyond help

What's so bad about bootstrap, anyway?

it sux

Sam
@Mooseman Don't tell me, you ran out of coffee?

@Mooseman because there's always a better alternative, which renders it to suck

12:54 PM
One good alternative being custom made code. Wait what? Yes! You can write your own code! And it can do things better!

It suits my needs very well, so that's why I used it.

Your needs seems... :p

Hello guys can someone help me out with my internet? I am using WiFi to connect and for some reason I cannot connect to certain websites with my Mac. When I use a Windows I can connect to those websites though. I don't really know what information I should give you. Thank you.

Well, to put it lightly, "Times new Roman".

@ArceusMaster0493 Is that a real request? :o
@Unihedro I'm using Roboto

12:55 PM
@Mooseman Yes. Sorry if it's too off-topic here.
@Mooseman I have been very frustrated by the "crappiness"(made up word) of my internet.

@Mooseman No one uses twitter-bootstrap because twitter bootstrap is as to times new roman. Will I use times new roman? Eh, probably no. It isn't monospaced, looks bad on coloring, dull and has oh so many better alternatives.

:o links to se sites onebox to their logo...

@Mooseman rolls eyes I did ask a question.

And for the same reason, I dislike twitter-bootstrap. It may be a great tool, but it's too meh.

12:57 PM
@Unihedro If it helps, I did write my own theme....

Q: Server dropped connection unexpectedly with certain WiFi

ArceusMaster0493 OS: Yosemite Type: Macbook Air 11 I have 2 WiFi's (A and B). Whenever I connect to A, my Mac drops the connection to a certain websites and often loses connection to the WiFi. @ArceusMaster0493 Are the sites using ssl?

Macs are beautiful and always work except when you don't.

@Sam Um... what the heck is ssl?

Transport Layer Security (TLS) and its predecessor, Secure Sockets Layer (SSL), are cryptographic protocols designed to provide communication security over the Internet. They use X.509 certificates and hence asymmetric cryptography to authenticate the counterparty with whom they are communicating, and to exchange a symmetric key. This session key is then used to encrypt data flowing between the parties. This allows for data/message confidentiality, and message authentication codes for message integrity and as a by-product, message authentication. Several versions of the protocols are in widespread...

@ArceusMaster0493 Basically, dose the site's url start with http or https?

Uh huh. I have no idea what that means.
