Q: Provide a setting to hide Meta posts in the Community Bulletin

CupcakePlease provide an option to hide just Meta posts in the Community Bulletin from me. I still want to see Stack Overflow Blog posts though, because I want to stay up-to-date on new features and stuff. Jeff was right. Meta Is Murder. I've decided that I don't really want to participate in Meta all ...

superuser.com traces the same except the last hop, which is programmers.stackexchange.com [198.252.206.16]

Once I was exchanging emails with a close friend for a while. But after a few years it appeared he only wanted to do that. I suggested that we should go out and do something together, but he was reluctant. Eventually I got bored, so I moved on and started dating someone else. He stopped emailing me after I told him that. After a year of no correspondence, he sent me an email told me his cousin committed suicide after he broke up with his girlfriend.

oh my... that is shocking...

@Manishearth You said that Andy's pull request would avoid to use a heavy way to check a phone number each time, so I think we're good to go.

@Andy Apparently something is wrong with the rebasing, it still cannot merge. I will try to merge it using the command line, hope that will work.

@ProgramFOX meh, I'm not sure it'll actually catch spam.
... are they real phone number's they're using?

@hichris123 I assume the spammers use real phone numbers. They want to get people to contact them, so why would they give a fake number?

@ProgramFOX well, they use websites too, sooo...

@hichris123 I don't remember that websites are mentioned.

Why don't you hook up an modem and call the number to see if you get a connection?

Nice knowing you all...

:O

Do tell me which flower you are @rene, before you leave....and nice knowing you too...

Bellis perennis is a common European species of daisy, of the Asteraceae family, often considered the archetypal species of that name. Many related plants also share the name "daisy", so to distinguish this species from other daisies it is sometimes qualified as common daisy, lawn daisy or English daisy. Historically, it has also been commonly known as bruisewort and occasionally woundwort (although the common name woundwort is now more closely associated with Stachys (woundworts)). Bellis perennis is native to western, central and northern Europe, but widely naturalised in most temperate regions...

5:19 PM
@InfiniteRecursion That flower is keeping you occupied, isn't it?

@InfiniteRecursion I think it's that one. Isn't it @rene?

nope

Let's try another one then!
Leucanthemum vulgare, the ox-eye daisy or oxeye daisy, (syn. Chrysanthemum leucanthemum), is a widespread flowering plant native to Europe and the temperate regions of Asia and an introduced plant to North America, Australia, and New Zealand. It is one of a number of Asteraceae family plants to be called a "daisy", and has the vernacular names: common daisy, dog daisy, moon daisy, and oxe-eye daisy. Leucanthemum vulgare is a typical grassland perennial wildflower, growing in a variety of plant communities including meadows and fields, under scrub and open-canopy forests, and in disturbed areas...
@rene ^?

It isn't found on grassland

It's a five petal flower, @pro, either a perfect flower of rose family or a male flower with anther, not any of those from the sunflower family which you are suggesting

5:21 PM
@InfiniteRecursion It looked like those ones, so I just tried it.

Five petal flowers are different @pro

Oh, come on! I wanted to use the feature of Google that you can search for similar images and I hoped I could find the flower on @rene's profile picture, but I only get links to rene's SE profiles.

lol

@rene: I love flowers, so am curious to know which flower that is :)

@InfiniteRecursion I see, but it was worth a try :D
