@rene: damn, considering that it is more difficult to get through some OPs than enemies in Counter Strike, I thought it would be a pretty challanging game.
Well, this may not be the easiest way, but you can do something like this:
First split the string at the .'s:
String[] partsOfVersion = version.split("\\.");
Then convert each part into an int:
int first = Integer.parseInt(partsOfVersion[0]);
int second = Integer.parseInt(partsOfVersion[1]);...
One of the few times I answer something, and I don't get to figure out if it worked. :(

@hichris123 Why can't you just remove the dots and paste everything together? You'll end up with 4216 so now you can just do the same for the other value and you're done: 4217 > 4216, 4105 < 4216, etc
