One of the approvers is already in my visited history so that is not a good sign...

If you VTC your own question, does it go to the CV queue?

I believe it counts as a regular vote, so yes.

... so .. he's going to do it by himself now? Problem solved. Another educational moment on SO.

We all feel good because we helped him realize that

I would upvote all of us if I could.

strange that here 3 people agree on my first comment and two on my last comment. I'm lost...

I agreed with the first one

Hahaha, this user couldn't be bothered to discuss any further
@Bart ok, whatever. — Rico 1 min ago
I love it

You didn't even have to smite him, @Bart.

I think the word might be out @Undo. People know and back off before it's necessary

You'll have law enforcement knocking on your door.

I have left another comment for the OP. Let's see if it helps or not. I'm guessing not, but hey ...
Aaaaand someone hands him the answer anyway. Grrr

I met a couple the other day whose names were Bill and Liz. I resisted the urge to ask if they've heard of Stack Overflow.

"..and this is our son Art"

Hahaha. I should become close friends with them, and subtly influence them to name their kid that.

Hahaha, I'll take bets on what comes first. The name change, or the restraining order.

I don't like these odds.

I am incredibly frustrated by the number of emails I get with a subject line of "Question".
The person I was complaining about there has changed tactics. The new subject line is "Hello."

Can someone explain Revision 2 to me: stackoverflow.com/posts/22490677/revisions?

@TimWolla Not sure - I just voted to close it though.
It's unclear..

@TimWolla Uh... why would a 29k user make that edit?

@hichris123 Yeah, that's why I asked here.

Sep 18 '13 at 6:00, by Bart
@jadarnel27 want to swap those people with my clients who use their own name as the subject of their emails? The amount of emails titled "Marco" is beyond annoying.
My offer still stands @jadarnel27
That is entirely inappropriate @TimWolla. Ridiculous edit
And not even a vote to close it seems.

9:17 PM
@bart Agreed. Truthfully, I was a bit disappointed when I read the cussing in the question, but editing away all of the useful non-cussing seems to me like overkill.

And even if you do that, then at least close the question. I really don't get the point of that all.

I guess everyone has their bad days :/

9:35 PM

On topic on SO?

yes?

I think it's fine

Ok, tnx

Strange answers though. Neither of them really explains what's going wrong in the first place

9:38 PM
^ that

Keep in mind that it is Apple which is already strange

Tell me about it. The freaking process we had to go through just to develop for an iPad ..... and once completed the client cancelled.

..wow

@Bart ahahahaha
I hope you did atleast get your money ?

Ah no, they cancelled that part of the project. So no work involved other than the whole dev registration
Which required a DUNS ... and then didn't ... and then did again ... etc.

9:45 PM
ah I see

Should this really be on-topic? stackoverflow.com/questions/22184624/…

@hichris123 I'd say no, but I kind of liked the premise of the question.

Plus it had a bounty, therefore nobody could vote to close.

@BlueIce I know... it came up as an audit though (I actually passed it, looked at the question first).

@Bart Hahaha, I forgot about that.

> "Like a true Swiss, he spoke softly, volunteered his opinions rarely, and trusted almost no one." - Some book I'm reading.
I am not cultured enough to know stereotypes about the Swiss, apparently.

Luckily I'm not Swiss then

@Bart Are you saying that you speak loudly, volunteer your opinions often, and trust everyone?
I don't know if I like that...

Change that last one to "trusts no one" and you're close

@rene What was it? :P

10:35 PM
@Bart Indeed!
I guess.

... that might cost me my residence permit ...

@jadarnel Um, that sounded... confident.

@hichris123 Closed now.

@BlueIce Confidence is as confidence does.
@Bart Hopefully no one involved with that process hangs out in here =P

I will know soon enough.

10:40 PM
@animuson Okay, thanks.

Q: Account suspension effect on hiring a candidate

user3425160I am a part of a hiring team, which search for users with good technical skills On sites like career 2.0, but recently I saw some users which account got suspended due to voting irregularities , so should we consider such a candidate or just reject ?

If you can't answer that question yourself, you shouldn't really be in charge of the hiring ....

Maybe he is confused about what is meant by "voting irregularities."
As in, he wants to know what the suspension reason means, so he can determine whether that should affect the person as a candidate for hiring.

Please don't decline my flag!

@animuson Noooooo

I'm combing through the pages looking for the crappy flags.

wants to be able to handle flags and gaze at the immense SO flag queue

How big is the queue these days, @animuson?
